Patent number: 11995727Abstract: A claim adjudication system including an automatic adjudication pipeline that uses pipeline rules to automatically adjudicate a claim associated with a benefit plan at one or more stages. The automatic adjudication pipeline can redirect the claim to a user interface for manual review when a pipeline rule associated with a manual review condition is triggered. The user interface can present information about the claim relevant to the manual review condition in an integrated format, including highlighting the reasons for the manual review. A user can evaluate the claim in the user interface and provide user input that addresses the manual review condition, and the claim can be routed back to the automatic adjudication pipeline. The user input can also be used as training data for machine learning to adjust pipeline rules that are used to automatically process claims and to redirect future claims for manual review.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 2022Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: CollectiveHealth, Inc.Inventors: Nicholas Halpern-Manners, Thomas Bedington, Andrew Chang, Yulia Eskin, Erica Leigh Horowitz, Chetan Subramanya Ithal, Asif Khalak, Sergio Martinez-Ortuno, Raphael N'Gouan, John George O'Leary, Izac Benjamin Milstein Ross, Xiaowen Ye, Heather Grates, Irene Victoria Tollinger, Henning Chiv

Patent number: 11038867Abstract: A flexible and extensible architecture allows for secure searching across an enterprise. Such an architecture can provide a simple Internet-like search experience to users searching secure content inside (and outside) the enterprise. The architecture allows for the crawling and searching of a variety of sources across an enterprise, regardless of whether any of these sources conform to a conventional user role model. The architecture further allows for security attributes to be received at query time, for example, in order to provide real-time secure access to enterprise resources. The user query also can be transformed to provide for dynamic querying that provides for a more current result list than can be obtained for static queries.Type: GrantFiled: August 12, 2019Date of Patent: June 15, 2021Assignee: ORACLE INTERNATIONAL CORPORATIONInventors: Muralidhar Krishnaprasad, Mark Davis, Mark Ture, Cindy Hsin, Meeten Bhavsar, Hiroshi Koide, Joaquin Delgado, Chi-Ming Yang, Visar Nimani, Hui Ouyang, Sachin Bhatkar, Thomas Chang

Patent number: 10956417Abstract: Techniques are provided for scheduling data operations for a given query based upon a query-cost model that analyzes the cost of scheduling data operations based upon their operation cost and the type of resources needed for the operation. In an embodiment, a database server receives a set of operations for a query. The database server determines a set of leaf operation nodes from the set of data operations, where the set of leaf operation nodes includes operation nodes that do not depend on the execution of other nodes within the set of data operations. The database server compares operation costs between the leaf operation nodes to determine which leaf operation node to insert into a scheduled order set. The database server inserts the leaf operation node into the scheduled order set. Then the database server iteratively determines new leaf operation nodes and performs cost analysis on remaining leaf operation nodes to generate a set of scheduled data operations.Type: GrantFiled: April 28, 2017Date of Patent: March 23, 2021Assignee: Oracle International CorporationInventors: Jarod Wen, Sam Idicula, Nitin Kunal, Thomas Chang, Gong Zhang, Nipun Agarwal, Farhan Tauheed
