  • Patent number: 8607852
Abstract: A distribution pipe (100) for a heat exchanger (300) including at least two parallel channels for a first medium exchanging heat with a second medium comprises a distribution portion (110) provided with a number of holes (120) provided on positions corresponding to the position of the parallel channels. A fitting portion (140) is in fluid communication with the distribution portion (110) and placed at one end of such distribution portion (110), wherein the fitting portion is provided with a brazing surface (150) adapted to be brazed onto an end plate (200) or a start plate (320).
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20030108344
Abstract: A water heater adapted to avoid peak temperatures of delivered water comprises a plate heat exchanger (1) connected to a storage container (2) provided with interior reinforcing means (9-11. FIG. 1; 13-13′″. FIGS. 5-18) connecting opposite parts of the outer wall (2′) of the container (2). Even provided with a thin storage container wall this makes it possible to use a box shaped water heater design without risk of deformations due to variations in the water pressure. The reinforcing means may consist of stacked interconnected plates (13-13′″). e.g. having the same form and size as plates (12-12′″) used in a plate heat exchanger connected to the container (2).

  • Patent number: 6305466
Abstract: In a three circuit plate heat exchanger stacked plates (31-36) forming channels for two flows (y, z) of fluid which should exchange heat with a third fluid (x) are each comprising two plate areas (20) surrounding two port forming holes and four plate areas (50) surrounding four port forming holes. The said two plate areas (20) surrounding two of the port holes are displaced through a vertical distance (H) away from the areas (50) surrounding four of the port forming holes. All channel forming plates are provided with a pressed pattern the maximum pressed depth of which is=h=about H/2.

  • Patent number: 5988269
Abstract: A plate heat exchanger for two or more flowing media may according to the invention be designed so that the front and rear cover plates (1, 8) of the exchanger act as channel defining walls for a flowing heat exchanging medium, and so that the tube connections at the inlet and outlet ports (10-13) can be established in a common plane. This is obtained thereby that the front and rear cover plates (1, 8) together with the adjacent first (2) and last (5) channel forming plates define distribution channels (18) crossing the direction between adjacent inlet and outlet ports.
