  • Patent number: 8572143
Abstract: An output signal is generated from a received input data stream representing a sequence of digital data values. For each group of successive data values in the sequence of data values, a respective waveform pattern is assigned in dependence of the data content of the respective group of successive data values. The output signal is generated by generating the assigned respective waveform patterns corresponding to the input data stream.

  • Patent number: 7333964
Abstract: A data analyzer for analyzing an incoming data stream, comprising a pattern matcher adapted for comparing in a first step the first data stream with a first data pattern and in a second step a second data stream with a second data pattern and for generating a match signal indicative of a match between the first data stream and the first data pattern or between the second data stream and the second data pattern, a trace memory adapted for storing a part of the first data stream dependent on the match signal of the first step, and for outputting stored data as second data stream in a second step and a data switch adapted for receiving the first data stream and the second data stream, and to be set in the first step to a first state for providing the pattern matcher with the first data stream and in the second step to a second state for providing the pattern matcher with the second data stream.

  • Patent number: 6998837
Abstract: A coupling unit provides a signal path between at least two of: a first device under test (DUT), and first and second couplers. The first coupler is coupled to a signal analyzer. The second coupler is coupled to another DUT. Both couplers provide and receive signals to and from the coupling unit which includes first and second multiplexers. An output of the first DUT is coupled to a first input of the first multiplexer and to a first input of the first coupler. A first output of the first coupler is coupled to a second input of the first multiplexer. The output of the first multiplexer is coupled to the input of the second coupler. The output of the second coupler is coupled to a first input of the second multiplexer and to a second input of the first coupler. A second output of the first coupler is coupled to a second input of the second multiplexer. The output of the second multiplexer is coupled to an input of the first DUT.

  • Publication number: 20030105851
Abstract: A remote management unit—RMU—manages a local data processing unit—DPU—from remote by a remote DPU. The RMU is coupled to the remote DPU by means of a network external with respect to the local DPU, and the RMU is coupled with the local DPU through an internal bus of the local DPU. The RMU comprises a data exchange interface for providing a data exchange between the local DPU and a remote data carrier coupled with the RMU through the external network. The data exchange interface is configured such that the local DPU regards the data exchange interface as representing or providing a standard interface of a data carrier type known by the local DPU. The data exchange interface is further configured to provide a data exchange of the RMU with the remote data carrier through the external network for executing the data exchange between the local DPU and the remote data carrier.

  • Publication number: 20020149592
Abstract: A remote management unit (40) and a graphics unit (30) are coupled to an internal bus (50) of a local data processing unit (10). The graphics unit (30) provides a data display on a monitor (60) of the local data processing unit (10) and comprises a graphics memory (70) containing a digital representation of the current display for the local monitor (60). The remote management unit (40) is adapted for addressing the graphics memory (70), reading out data content of the graphics memory (70), and transmitting the read-out data content to a remote data processing unit (100) located remote from the local data processing unit (10).
