    Abstract: The present invention is an easy to use method and apparatus for lifting and moving a load on vehicle. The lifting and moving apparatus includes a support member, a lift rail capable of moving relative to the support member, and a lift assembly that raises the lift rail vertically relative to the support member. The lift assembly also includes lift surfaces, such as rollers, that facilitate horizontal movement of the lift rail relative to the support member.
