  • Publication number: 20130199128
Abstract: A printer assembly for a form fill and seal machine prints indicia on the top web. The indicia are spaced apart on the top web.
    Type: Application
    Filed: February 7, 2012
    Publication date: August 8, 2013
Inventors: Gregory P. Rochon, Thomas Glatfelter
  • Publication number: 20070069449
Abstract: A bag dispenser feeds a bag assembly for supplying bags to a work station for manual removal from the bag assembly as needed. Each bag is printed with information such as packing date or packing location prior to reaching the work station.
    Type: Application
    Filed: November 9, 2005
    Publication date: March 29, 2007
    Inventors: Derril Cady, Thomas Glatfelter
  • Patent number: 7100507
Abstract: A flexographic rotary platen printing press for printing indicia on a web of flexible material moving along a longitudinal axis. The flexographic rotary platen printing press includes a print drum assembly that is affixed to a trolley that is moveable in a linear direction across the web generally transverse to the direction of the web movement. When the web is stopped, the print drum is caused to roll across the web that is sandwiched between the print drum and a flat, planar platen to print indicia onto the web in a line contact. A linear drive system causes the movement of the print drum assembly. The speed of the transverse movement is electronically coordinated to the speed of the rotation of the print drum as it moves across the web to carry out the printing operation.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 27, 2004
Date of Patent: September 5, 2006
    Assignee: Greydon, Inc.
Inventors: Gregory P. Rochon, Wayne F. Fickes, Thomas Glatfelter
  • Publication number: 20050284105
Abstract: A bagger feeds shingled open-ended bags to a workstation. Each bag is printed with information, typically date and product source information. The print area on each underlying bag is located by flipping up a trailing portion of an overlying bag.
