  • Publication number: 20110064533
Abstract: The invention relates to a tool for at least partially removing a coating or layer of a base body of a tube. The inventive drilling machine tool comprises a base body. At least one guiding element aligns the base body with the tube and defines a rotational axis for a rotational movement of the base body around the tube. A blade is linked with the base body with a degree of freedom in a direction radial to the rotational axis. The blade has a cutting edge which has an orientation parallel to the rotational axis. An activation element biases the blade in radial inner direction. When driven by a drilling machine, the drilling machine tool rotates around the tube located within the drilling machine tool, wherein the blade “peels” the coating or layer from the tube.

  • Publication number: 20100242568
Abstract: The present invention relates to a crimping tool, in particular crimping pliers. The crimping tool comprises crimping die halves having a resilient deformation region. At the end of a crimping process the resilient deformation region is elastically deformed with the result that the crimping contour opens and contour parts automatically move apart. Accordingly, the crimping contour “breaks free” from the work piece for an ease of the removal of the work piece from the crimping tool.

  • Publication number: 20090249855
Abstract: The present invention relates to crimping pliers for crimping a work piece. The crimping pliers comprise two hand levers. The hand levers are linked with tools or dies for applying a crimping movement upon the work piece. The dies are housed in a head of the crimping pliers. A locator has a pivoting degree of freedom with respect to the head around a pivoting axis which has an orientation parallel to a main extensional plane of said head and transverse to the degree of freedom of the dies during the crimping process. The locator comprises an activating element with an extension being designed and arranged such that said extension is located in the access area of a finger of a hand of a user of said pliers gripping or contacting the hand levers.

  • Publication number: 20090217791
Abstract: The present invention relates to a head of crimping pliers for crimping a work piece. The head comprises two inserts. Each insert builds at least two halves of at least two nests for the work piece. The inserts are guided along a guiding axis for a sliding movement between a first and second relative position. The guiding axis is directed transverse to the crimping axis. Two nests built by the halves might be used in one and the same position by moving the inserts from the first to the second relative position.

  • Publication number: 20090193942
Abstract: The invention relates to pliers for changing the distance of two activation surfaces of a connection or fitting for conduits. The change of the distance correlates with an elastic or plastic deformation of at least one component of the fitting including a radial crimping process. The inventive pliers comprise two hand levers linked by a transfer mechanism with two spreading jaws. According to the invention, a closing movement of the hand levers results in a spreading movement of the spreading jaws. Such spreading movement of the spreading jaws is used for plastically deforming at least one of the components of the connection by a radial crimping process.

  • Publication number: 20090183547
Abstract: The present invention relates to crimping pliers designed and arranged for manually crimping a work piece. Such crimping pliers comprise two manually operated hand levers coupled by a transfer mechanism with two crimping jaws. A closing mechanism is designed and arranged for being operated independent on said hand levers. Upon activation of the closing mechanism the crimping jaws are moved from an open state in a partial movement in a further closed starting state. The crimping jaws are secured in the starting state against returning into said open state. Starting from said starting state the crimping jaws are movable in an additional partial movement towards each other upon manipulation of the hand levers.

  • Publication number: 20090173133
Abstract: The present invention relates to crimping pliers for crimping connecting elements. The crimping pliers comprise crimping jaws building a nest for the connecting element. The crimping jaws are designed and arranged for being moved in radial direction versus a longitudinal axis of the nest for applying radial crimping forces upon the connecting element. Hand levers are provided for manually applying the crimping forces and causing the movement of said crimping jaws. The hand levers are located in a plane. The plane is aligned with the longitudinal axis of said nest and divided by the longitudinal axis into two half-planes. Both of said hand levers are located in one and the same half-plane. A transfer or transmission unit transfers a translational activation along the longitudinal axis in the force flow between said hand levers and said crimping jaws into a rotational activation around the longitudinal axis.
