  • Patent number: 11962129
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a laser diode system. The system may have at least one laser diode emitter having a substrate, at least one laser diode supported on the substrate, and a facet which a laser beam generated by the laser diode is emitted. A cooling subsystem is included which is disposed in contact with the substrate of the laser diode emitter. The cooling subsystem includes a plurality of cooling fins forming a plurality of elongated channels for circulating a cooling fluid therethrough to cool the laser diode emitter. The cooling fluid also flows over the facet of the laser diode emitter.

  • Patent number: 5543756
Abstract: A circuit for an intermediate frequency filter combines a variable bandwidth series resonant filter circuit and a parallel resonant filter circuit. A variable output impedance drives the filter and a variable input impedance amplifier buffers the output of the filter. The output impedance of the driver is made to track the input impedance of the output buffer. Changes in the gain of the filter with respect to bandwidth are relatively small. The noise figure of the filter remains low. The circuit is not operated in the non-linear region of the crystal because relatively low drive currents are needed at narrow bandwidths so that the crystal is not overdriven. The LC filter tunes out the stray capacitance from the load of the crystal filter.

  • Patent number: 4627333
Abstract: A method and apparatus for storing a particulate material in a storage assembly. The storage assembly includes a wall for retaining the particulate material and a cover. A cap is positioned above the cover and mounts a vertically movable ring assembly. During filling, the ring assembly is adjusted to tension the cover. A flow of fluid is provided through said stored particulate material for maintaining the temperature within the stored particulate material within a predetermined upper and lower limit and also urges the cover into contact with the particulate material.
