  • Patent number: 4957325
Abstract: An aerodynamically enhanced air grill mounted on a vehicle is provided which comprises an air intake grill and a pair of air discharge grills. The air intake grill, and each of the air discharge grills, are provided with an array of substantially vertically, spatially disposed air foils for directing air flow therethrough. Each of the air foils constituting the array of air foils is provided with a cross sectional configuration substantially corresponding to an air foil section. An interior, substantially V-shaped, deflector barrier can be disposed directly behind the air intake grill so as to extend rearwardly with opposite ends of the deflector barrier attached to the grill frame rearwardly of the air discharge grills.

  • Patent number: 4840422
Abstract: A trailer air grill mounted in a front and opposing side walls of a trailer and having a front intake air grill with louvers in the front wall which direct the airflow at an angle toward the side wall discharge air grills. An interior V-shaped deflector barrier centered at the back of the front intake air grill further enhances the deflection of the airflow to the side wall discharge air grills.

  • Patent number: 4559747
Abstract: An improved container support apparatus for supporting a refuse container comprising a stationary tubular member disposable in the ground; a telescoping tubular member supported by the stationary tubular member, and the telescoping tubular member being slidably moveable between a retracted position within the stationary tubular member and an extended position substantially above the surface of the ground; a stop assembly for maintaining the telescoping tubular member in its extended position; a container support member slidably disposed about the telescoping tubular member for supporting the container thereon when the telescoping tubular member is in its extended position; a handle assembly secured to the upper end portion of the telescoping tubular member for selectively moving the telescoping tubular member between the retracted and extended positions; and a linkage assembly supported by the handle assembly and pivotally connected to the stop assembly so that the telescoping tubular member can be moved to t

  • Patent number: 4517775
Abstract: A telescoping support apparatus for supporting at least one refuse container, the support apparatus comprising a ground cylinder disposable in the ground and having an upper end portion extendible a selected distance above the surface of the ground; a support cylinder supported by the ground cylinder and slidably movable between a retracted position within the ground cylinder and an extended position substantially above the surface of the ground, the support cylinder having an upper portion and a lower portion, the upper portion having an outside diameter less than the outside diameter of the lower portion so that a support shoulder is formed at the junction of the upper and lower portions, the lower portion having a first detent slot formed therein; first stop means supported within the lower portion of the support cylinder for selectively locking the support cylinder in the extended position, the first stop means pivotally supported in the lower portion of the support cylinder so that an end portion of the
