  • Patent number: 11980487
Abstract: A stand is for a medical imaging system. In an embodiment, the stand includes an X-ray tube; a driver to adjust the X-ray tube in at least three spatial degrees of freedom; at least one environmental sensor to acquire at least one environmental parameter; and a controller to control an adjustment movement of the X-ray tube by generating control signals for the drive unit and to adapt the adjustment movement based on the at least one environmental parameter.

  • Patent number: 7681685
Abstract: A front hood hinge for connecting a front hood to the body of a vehicle, comprising a cuttable device having a cuttable member, a cutting knife and a stop determining the normal closed position of the front hood, and being designed such that, when a threshold value is exceeded, the stop is adapted to be displaced downwardly beyond the normal closed position against a resistance generated by the cuttable device, said resistance being caused by the cuttable member being cut in the course of the displacement of the stop upon movement of the cutting knife in relation to the cuttable member.

  • Patent number: 6468454
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for shaping the surface of extruded profiles made of thermoplastic materials with a device which is profiled to the shaping surface such that it is complimentary to the demanded shaping dimensions and presses into the continuous profile. The invention provides a method and device with whose simple, economic and high uniformity permit a material-saving production of profiles while completely adhering to the required stability at the same time. To this end, the shaping device presses the desired shaping dimensions into the continuous profile such that the wall strength of the surrounding edges of the impressions is reduced and work-hardened. The profiles are cooled and shaped into a dimensionally stable state in such a way that the height of the impressions at least correspond to the halved wall strengths of the continuous profile.

  • Patent number: 5194061
Abstract: A tool changer comprises a support (7) movable parallel to the axis (A or B) of a tool holder, a pivoting head (8) which pivots on the support (7) about an axis of rotation (D), and two gripper arms (9, 10) arranged on the head (8) substantially radially with respect to the axis of rotation, their free ends each carrying a gripper (11). The free ends of the gripper arms (9, 10) are so inclined relative to the axis of rotation (D) that the two tool axes (W1, W2) of the tools (5, 6) engaged by the grippers (11) and the axis of rotation (D) intersect in a single point (P), and so that the tool axes (W1, W2) of the tools (5, 6) engaged by the grippers (11) diverge from the axis of rotation (D) towards their holding ends (5a, 6a). Each of the tool axes (W1, W2) includes an acute angle (.alpha.) of about 10.degree. to 30.degree. with the axis of rotation (D).

  • Patent number: 4903691
Abstract: This invention concerns a set of surgical instruments for joining bone fragments (osteosynthesis) by screw fastening, especially in the case of cranial, facial, vertebral or hand fractures, comprising several plates of different shapes and curvatures and with holes and/or several screws and/or a screwdriver 8 and/or a bending instrument and/or a depth gauge and/or a drill and/or a cutting instrument. Special designs of said plates, screws and also said screwdriver 8 are given, whereby the latter comprises a blade 10, coaxially and movably a collet 11 with, at the lower end, radial, spring-supported jaws 15 and on said collet 11 an axially slidable retaining sleeve 12, which in its lowermost position presses said jaws 15 inwards.
