  • Patent number: 10967976
Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle seat (1) comprising a seat surface (2) and at last one backrest element (3, 13) which are pivotable about an axis (6) relative to the seat surface (2). The at least one backrest element (3, 13) is movable from a sitting position, in which the backrest element (3, 13) is positioned substantially at an angle (a) relative to the seat surface (2), into a reclined position, in which the seat surface (2) and the at least one backrest element (3, 13) form a substantially planar surface, and back again. The vehicle seat (1) has at least one pneumatic cushion (10; 10.1, 10.2) and a pneumatic unit (9), which is configured in such a way that the pneumatic unit substantially completely inflates the at least one pneumatic cushion (10; 10.1, 10.2) if the at least one backrest element (3, 13) is moved into the reclined position, and the at least one pneumatic cushion (10; 10.1, 10.2) is substantially completely emptied when the backrest element (3, 13) is moved into the sitting position.

  • Patent number: 5917316
Abstract: The measuring device is intended for a metal-enclosed, gas-insulated high-voltage installation. It contains at least one Rogovski coil (10), which is arranged in an enclosure tube (3), filled with insulating gas, of the metal enclosure and serves to detect the current in a current-carrying conductor (9), led through the enclosed tube (3), and a measuring electrode (11), which surrounds the conductor (9) and serves to detect the voltage of the conductor (9). The current conductor (9) is rigidly connected to a current-conducting cast armature (13) of an insulator (14) fastened to the enclosure tube (3). In the measuring device according to the invention, a defined field geometry is maintained in the interior of the enclosure tube (3) even over long periods and under changing loads. Consequently, the sensors, in particular the voltage sensor containing the measuring electrode (11), can transmit output signals of high measuring accuracy.

  • Patent number: 5889248
Abstract: An apparatus for operating a combined interrupter disconnect switch is disclosed. The disconnect switch is operated by a slow speed linear motion of a mechanism pullrod. The interrupter, which is a component of the disconnect switch arm, is operated by a high speed linear motion of the same mechanism pullrod. In a preferred embodiment, the apparatus of the present invention comprises: an operating rod; a high speed operating mechanism connected to the operating rod; a sliding gear having an elongated gear face; a motor, rotatably connected to the sliding gear; a coupling gear drive having a longitudinally disposed threaded shaft and an external gear face, connected to the operating rod and meshed with said sliding gear; a threaded rod threaded into the threaded shaft of the coupling gear drive; and a drive rod connected to the threaded rod and to the mechanism pullrod. The high speed operating mechanism and motor respectively provide high speed and slow speed linear motion to the mechanism pullrod.
