  • Patent number: 7177902
Abstract: A keyboard event server (KES) allows an end user to remotely control a computer. The KES accepts a uniform resource locator having a query string that specifies one or more keyboard events to be simulated. The query string may include mnemonics corresponding to one or more keyboard-key presses that can be simulated one after another and/or simultaneously. An end user can use a wireless-access browser running on a wireless-client device to remotely control a target computer through a wireless-access gateway.

  • Publication number: 20060074746
Abstract: Disclosed are methods and apparatus, including computer program products, implementing and using techniques for tracking and reporting campaign status information for an advertiser having an associated computer in communication with a data network. The campaign status information describes the progress of a marketing campaign performed on behalf of the advertiser using a plurality of electronic publishers in communication with the data network. In one aspect, the method includes determining an amount spent on or for each of the electronic publishers. Campaign event information is determined for the marketing campaign. An electronic report can be prepared, including a compilation of one or more of the determined amount spent and campaign event information. The electronic report can be provided for the advertiser computer over the data network.

  • Publication number: 20060074748
Abstract: Disclosed are methods and apparatus, including computer program products, implementing and using techniques for generating advertisement information for performing a marketing campaign on behalf of an advertiser. The advertiser has an associated computer in communication with a data network. A plurality of electronic publishers in communication with the data network are used. In one aspect, the method includes receiving, over the data network, information describing subject matter of the marketing campaign. Advertisement information is generated based on the received information describing the marketing campaign subject matter. A plurality of instantiations of the advertisement information are generated using publisher parameters associated with the electronic publishers. Each instantiation is in a format appropriate for a respective one of the electronic publishers. At least one of the generated instantiations is provided to the respective electronic publisher over the data network.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and apparatus, including computer program products, implementing and using techniques for performing a marketing campaign on behalf of an advertiser. A plurality of electronic publishers are in communication with a data network. The advertiser has an associated computer also in communication with the data network. An advertising apparatus, in one aspect of the present invention, includes one or more engines. A user interface engine is configured to interact with the advertiser computer over the data network for generating a budget amount, marketing campaign parameters associated with and defining the marketing campaign, and information describing the marketing campaign. A campaign allocation engine is configured to allocate the budget amount among the electronic publishers based on the generated marketing campaign parameters and publisher parameters associated with the electronic publishers.

  • Patent number: 5988293
Abstract: A stroke limiting structure for use with a lift control system on an implement includes a reciprocating link operably connected to a hydraulic cylinder and to a lift wheel assembly on an implement frame section. The link is connected by a lost motion connection to depth gauging structure including gauge plates pivotally supported on a carrier. The plates are rotatable between disengaged and engaging positions without need for tools and are maintained together on the carrier to eliminate loose parts that could be misplaced or lost. The plates in the engaging position determine the lowermost position of the implement and provide a positive mechanical stop for the implement to eliminate depth control problems caused by cylinder leakage or the like. The lost motion connection eliminates unwanted movement of the plate carrier and facilitates gauge plate pivoting for depth adjustments.

  • Patent number: 5724903
Abstract: A support for a seed firming wheel of an agricultural planter. The support comprises a forked frame, a C-shaped link pivotally coupled to the forked frame and a spring positioned between the link and forked frame. The forked frame has a seed tube guard portion, two rearwardly extending arms, and a cross member that form a seed tube opening for receiving a seed tube and maintaining it in the center of the seed planting furrow. The forked frame is also provided with a pivot assembly to which the C-shaped link is mounted. The seed firming wheel is rotatively mounted to the C-shaped link.

  • Patent number: 5676073
Abstract: The present invention is an adjustment mechanism to move the seed firming wheels into its correct side-to-side position. The seed firming wheels are rotatably mounted to a bracket which in turn is mounted to a wheel support member of the planter unit frame. The bracket is provided with two radiused bushings which cooperate with radiused surfaces in the side walls of the wheel support member. The side walls and the wheel support member are provided with fore/aft extending slots through which adjustment bolts pass through the bracket and sidewalls of the wheel support member for clamping the bracket to the wheel support member.
