  • Patent number: 9056661
Abstract: A system is disclosed which incorporates a projectile delivery launcher which may assume numerous forms and perform numerous functions, including launching a water rescue preservation device such as a life jacket, military supplies, survival supplies, fire extinguishing supplies, or the like. The device includes a unique barrel having a low friction chrome plated inner surface which provides maximum range deployment of a safety projectile. In one embodiment a unique clutch-type crank is mounted below the barrel and houses a thin stainless high strength steel ribbon to provide deployment of a projectile, and retrieval of a victim, supplies or the like. A CO2 cartridge system, which incorporates a novel explosive chamber is also used. In another embodiment a compressed gas tank is connected to the launcher for selective release of the gas to deploy the projectile.

  • Publication number: 20150132191
Abstract: A laser ring is presented for mounting on or incorporating into a power plant generating pollutant gases as byproducts. The laser ring includes a ring housing receiving the gases and a laser beam which is reflected many times by the housing into the gases to generate a hot energy field and remove the pollutants. The ring can be adapted to operate on motor vehicles, airplanes, stacks of power plants, etc.

  • Patent number: 5173881
Abstract: This invention provides a vehicular proximity sensing system having a plurality of preferably utrasonic distance-detector devices disposed around the vehicle's periphery and connected with a simulated vehicle display on the dashboard which display includes visual means to alert the driver to the close approach of an external object to the vehicle, in which the distance-detector devices use a coded signal characteristic of the vehicle and recognizable by the system, so as to distinguish reflections from interfering signals from other vehicles. In a preferred embodiment, the simulated vehicle display is provided with tricolor LED warning devices, wired to a computer or a box holding the LED's, and these can be illuminated by optical fibres and a vehicle representation is illuminated by a luminescent panel. A valuable option is a remote and an externally audible warning device enabling a parked vehicle to be provided with defensive means against being hit by another vehicle.
