Abstract: Apparatus and method of manufacture therefor for containing heated substances without cover deformation. The apparatus has a container bottom and a lid member, where the container bottom has integrated within it a support structure such that when the lid member engages the container bottom, the support structure provides additional support to the lid member. The integrated structural support can be provided substantially at the area of the container bottom where the lid member, when attached, has relatively weak support at a predetermined temperature range.
