  • Patent number: 11916465
Abstract: A compensating element having a first and a second assembly, wherein a locking mechanism is provided which can be switched over between a first and a second operating state. In the first operating state, the first assembly is connected fixedly to the second assembly and, in the second operating state, the first and second assemblies are connected to each other via a spring mechanism in such a manner that they are movable relative to each other. The locking mechanism includes an electric motor that can be used to switch over between the first and the second operating state. A locking ring is or is not braced against at least three balls depending on its rotational position with respect to a center axis. The locking ring is connected in terms of rotary drive to the electric motor via a torsion spring which is elastic with respect to the center axis.

  • Publication number: 20230276935
Abstract: A convertible table having a base frame, a bench element attached to one side of the base frame, a rotating arm mechanism attached at a first side to the base frame, and a table element attached to a second side of the rotating arm mechanism, wherein the table element is displaceable between a table mode having a coplanar top surface, and a bench mode having a raised table surface above and apart from a bench surface. The convertible table may be used as one would use a coffee table, dining table or desk.

  • Patent number: 10743798
Abstract: The invention is directed to a method of generating and measuring transiently evoked otoacoustic emissions (TEOAE) acoustic signals generated in the cochlea using a scheme of stimulating both inner ears simultaneously, left ear alone, and right ears alone with at least two different first and second averaging buffers per ear in a switching scheme with automated detection of contralateral suppression of TEOAE via statistical analysis of the differences of suppressed and unsuppressed responses.

  • Publication number: 20160131106
Abstract: Wind turbine comprising a nacelle with a generator and wind turbine blades for driving the generator, a tower supporting the nacelle wherein the nacelle is rotatable about a vertical axis an azimuth drive for rotating the nacelle around the axis, said azimuth drive comprising a plurality of asynchronous yaw motors and an azimuth controller with a frequency unit for controlling the plurality of asynchronous yaw motors, wherein the azimuth controller is arranged to connect all of the plurality of asynchronous yaw motors to the one frequency unit in a rotating mode and to connect only a subset of the plurality of asynchronous yaw motors from the one frequency unit in a locking mode.
