    Abstract: A weld nut assembly, including: an annular flange structure; and an annular body structure coupled to the annular flange structure; wherein the annular flange structure and the annular body structure collectively define an inner bore, wherein at least a portion of the inner bore defined proximate the annular flange structure defines threads adapted to receive a screw disposed within the inner bore. The weld nut assembly further includes an annular washer or bottom structure coupled to the annular flange structure. Optionally, the weld nut assembly further includes an annular ring projection and a plurality of circumferential weld protrusions coupled to the annular flange structure. The annular flange structure is adapted to be welded to a surface of a body panel or other structure of a vehicle with the inner bore aligned with a hole formed through the body panel or other structure, the hole adapted to receive the screw therethrough.

    Abstract: A plug-in hybrid electric vehicle has an internal combustion engine with a coolant outlet connected to a coolant inlet of a fuel operated heater and wherein a coolant outlet of the fuel operated heater is connected to a coolant inlet of an HVAC heater, a coolant outlet of the HVAC heater further being connected to a coolant inlet of the internal combustion engine. The vehicle also has a temperature sensor at the coolant outlet of the internal combustion engine and a temperature sensor at the coolant outlet of the fuel operated heater. The vehicle has a three way valve arranged between the coolant outlet of the HVAC heater and the coolant inlet of the internal combustion engine such that there is a connection between the coolant outlet of the HVAC heater and the coolant inlet of the fuel operated heater, the connection bypassing the internal combustion engine.

    Abstract: The invention is a riding floor polishing and grinding machine that uses one or more gangs of polishing heads (242) to treat concrete and similar surface flooring (208). A compact vehicle (210) equipped with a front loader arm (235) is fitted with a module (240) containing the gang(s) of polishing head. The vehicle (210) is capable of raising and rotating the module to easily change the pads attached to the polishing heads. Each polishing head is individually powered by a motor and floats over the floor surface. The pads attached to the polishing heads can be of many different types, preferably diamond-impregnated polishing pads. The invention enables operator to more quickly and efficiently remove material from a floor surface. The design also enables gangs of pads to be mounted with different grit ratings to perform different treatment operations using a single machine in a single pass over a floor surface.
