  • Publication number: 20240164623
Abstract: A method of withdrawing an endoscope from anatomy comprises inserting the endoscope into the anatomy to deliver a distal end of the endoscope to a location, positioning a guide sheath around a proximal end of the endoscope, sliding the guide sheath along the endoscope to reach the distal end and withdrawing the endoscope from the guide sheath and anatomy. A system for intraoperatively attaching a suturing device to an in-situ endoscope comprises an insertion sheath comprising an elongate tunnel body extending between proximal and distal ends and a slit extending axially along the elongate tunnel body, and a suturing device couplable in a releasable manner to an endoscope. A reinsertion sheath for an endoscope comprises an elongate body comprising proximal and distal ends and a skin extending axially between the proximal and distal ends, and a slit extending along the shaft to allow circumferential expansion of the elongate body.

  • Publication number: 20240130724
Abstract: An electromagnetic suturing device comprises a body, a coil in the body and a suturing element actuatable by a magnetic suturing track extending into the first end face, a second arm having a second end face opposing the first end face, a second suturing track extending into the second end face, a coil in the first arm, and a suturing element drivable by a magnetic field generated by the coil to move from the first suturing track to the second suturing track. An electro-magnetic hammer suturing device comprises a housing and a coil in the housing, a shuttle to reciprocate in the housing by an electromagnetic field generated by the coil and a suturing element to be actuated by the shuttle.

  • Patent number: 11944842
Abstract: A therapy device comprises a shaft extending between proximal and distal portions, a surgical instrument located at the distal portion, a handpiece located at the proximal portion, a treatment end located at the distal end of the surgical instrument that can apply photodynamic therapy (PDT). The treatment end includes an applicator to apply a photosensitizer to a surface of a target tissue and a light emitter that can emit generated phototherapeutic light to activate the photosensitizer to ablate target tissue. A method for providing PDT to the target tissue includes inserting the therapy device into the patent, applying the photosensitizer and phototherapeutic light to a surface of the target tissue, and removing the device from the patient.

  • Patent number: 6745430
Abstract: The invention is a cleaning apparatus for cleaning elongated and cylindrical filters, commonly referred to as pleated bag filters or pleated bag replacements for fabric sock filter bags, that are open on one end and closed on the other end. The filter is being rotated within a hermetically sealed cleaning chamber, air jets are reciprocated along the length of the filter in close proximity to a circumference of the cylindrical filter. The cleaning chamber is provided with a negative air pressure while the interior of the rotating filter is supplied with a positive air pressure. The air jets tend to loosen and remove the dirt from within the pleats of the filter which dirt is carried away by the negative pressure within the cleaning chamber.

  • Patent number: 6640382
Abstract: The present invention provides a mobile filter cleaning system allowing movement to a site where dirty filters are located. The filter cleaning system includes a trailer or truck, an air compressor, an aftercooler, an air drier, a filter cleaning station, a compressed air tank, a dust collector, a fan and fan motor, and an airflow verification unit. Along a first fluid communication, compressed air is used to clean dirty filters in the cleaning station and filter cartridges in the dust collector. Along a second fluid communication dirt, liberated from the dirty filter is pulled from the cleaning station to the dust collector by a fan-induced draft. The compressor creates the first fluid communication and the fan creates a second fluid communication.
