  • Patent number: 5957422
Abstract: A strip display assembly capable of being suspended from an existing commercial shelving construction and suitable for supporting high volumes of small impulse merchandising in addition to the merchandise carrying ability of the existing construction. An elongate body includes an upper end, a lower end, a front planar face and a rear planar face. A bracket secures to the upper end of the display assembly and suspends the assembly in vertical fashion from the shelving construction. A plurality of corrugations extend an axial length of the elongate body and separate the front and rear planar faces according to a selected thickness to provide reinforcing and rigid support to the display assembly along the axially extending direction. Pairs of spaced apart apertures are formed through the front and rear planar faces of the body at spaced apart intervals along the axial length of the body. A plurality of merchandise support members are provided which are individually attachable to the strip display assembly.

  • Patent number: 5666732
Abstract: A holder for use with a razor blade having a scraping edge and an opposite supporting edge. A body is constructed of a durable and flexible material and has a first face and a second face spaced a predetermined distance from the first face. A substantially straight edge and at least one additional edge connected to opposite sides of the straight edge defines an outline of the body. The straight edge includes an aperture which defines a cavity within the body for inserting the razor blade a predetermined distance. The cavity provides a friction fit between inwardly facing edges of the body and the razor blade upon insertion of the razor blade. A recess is formed along the straight edge of the first face and the second face for removing the blade from the holder and for rotating the blade from a working position to a storage position.

  • Patent number: 5660286
Abstract: A merchandising display assembly mounted to a vertical support surface, the support surface having a number of apertures formed therethrough. At least one horizontally extending member is mounted to and extends from the support surface. The horizontally extending member includes first and second elongated portions and axially adjusting means for establishing a length between the elongated portions. An elongated display member is secured to an outer end of the at least horizontal member and extends in parallel fashion relative to the vertical support surface at a spaced distance. The axially adjusting means permit the display member to be adjusted to a desired spaced position relative to the vertical support surface and the display member is capable of supporting large volumes of small sized merchandise without obscuring additional merchandise located on the vertical support surface.

  • Patent number: 5168783
Abstract: The tool of the present invention comprises a pair of locking pliers specifically designed to include opposite and matching jaws which have interlocking projections forming a cavity sized and shaped to compliment and accept wire rope cable so that the jaws may be quickly closed and locked around cable lengths to grip the cable lengths temporarily but firmly and in correct alignment until a conventional clamp can be installed.

  • Patent number: 4780172
Abstract: An improved tape dispenser includes a housing having parallel spaced sidewalls which have lower edges defining a housing base. The sidewalls may be joined at the top, front and rear of the dispenser but remain open at the lower edges. A resilient tongue extends between a forward portion of the sidewalls and has a portion which protrudes below the lower edges. The protruding end portion has a straight, radiused end for smoothly engaging and applying the tape. A cutting blade is disposed slightly forward and above the end portion of the tongue. Tabs on a rearward surface of the tongue form a guiding slot for the tape and prevent the leading edge from being retracted into the dispenser. Upon drawing the dispenser rearwardly with the lower edges parallel to the surface, the resilience of the tongue causes the radiused end portion to press the tape down to the surface.

  • Patent number: 4627128
Abstract: A hand tool for cleaning and scraping the interior surfaces of a cylindrical container containing paint or other chemical solvents and solutions includes a handle and a blade member which complements and conforms to the interior surfaces of the container. The blade member has a substantially semicylindrical shape to facilitate removal of residual materials from the container and a bottom surface which is angled to provide access to the bottom surface of the container. In addition, the bottom surface of the blade has an outer edge which conforms to the shape of the sidewalls of the container to increase the residue removing capabilities of the tool. The working edges of the blade are beveled to further facilitate removal of residual material.

  • Patent number: 4612707
Abstract: A cutting and scraping device is formed of two substantially identical sections which are joined together to form a slot which receives a razor blade having a blade edge and a handle edge. A locking member is provided to lock the blade in place with either its blade edge or handle edge exposed.
