  • Publication number: 20240067341
Abstract: A vehicle lavatory monument assembly that includes an enclosure having a plurality of walls that cooperate to define a lavatory interior, an entry door, and a toilet positioned in the lavatory interior. The enclosure includes an inlet and the toilet includes an outlet. An air replenishment system is configured to move a first volume of air from the lavatory interior and through the outlet and a second volume of air through the inlet an into the lavatory interior to replenish the air in the lavatory interior.

  • Patent number: 11483077
Abstract: Disclosed is an undersea power routing device including a first coupling port, a high voltage converter a second coupling port. The first coupling port may be configured to be coupled to an electrical power conductor and fiber optical cables of an undersea branch cable. The high voltage converter may be coupled to the first coupling port and operable to connect to the electrical power conductor via the first coupling port. The high voltage converter may be further operable to convert a high voltage electrical power supplied by the electrical power conductor to an output voltage having a lower voltage electrical power than the high voltage electrical power. The second coupling port may be configured to couple the high voltage converter to an interconnect cable. The high voltage converter, when coupled to the interconnect cable, may be operable to distribute the lower voltage electrical power to the interconnect cable.

  • Publication number: 20210302678
Abstract: Submarine cable branching units with fiber pair switching configured to allow any number of trunk cable fiber pairs to access the optical spectrum any number of branch cable fiber pairs. Access to a particular branch terminal is not limited to predefined subset of the trunk fiber pairs. This approach allows fewer branch cable fiber pairs to be equipped in each branching unit, reducing system cost, simplifies system planning and provides flexible routing of overall trunk cable capacity.

  • Publication number: 20210219740
Abstract: A device for transporting and protecting a mattress via a cover containing straps and buckles, which allow the mattress to optionally be secured in a folded position. The cover may be made of a durable, water-impermeable fabric or other material, such as Cordura®, which both protects the mattress and its surroundings from damage. The cover may include an end opening, such as a zipper, which allows the cover to slide over the mattress and then be enclosed therein. A strap or straps may be attached to the mattress, and the mattress may be folded in half and buckled in order for it to be transported. An additional strap and buckle may be located in the center of the cover to add additional support if necessary. The cover further may contain eight handles that may be used to pick up and transport the mattress.

  • Publication number: 20050272830
Abstract: The invention detailed herein comprises a family of radiation-curable coating formulations specifically for metal substrates. These coating formulations are based on multifunctional acrylate resins formed by the reaction of acrylate monomers and oligomers with ?-keto esters (e.g., acetoacetates), ?-diketones (e.g., 2,4-pentanedione), ?-keto amides (e.g., acetoacetanilide, acetoacetamide), and/or other ?-dicarbonyl compounds that can participate in the Michael addition reaction. An essential novelty of these coating resins is that they will cure under standard UV-cure conditions without the addition of traditional photoinitiators. Other materials, both reactive (conventional acrylates) and non-reactive (e.g., solvents) may also be incorporated into the resin oligomers to enhance the coatings properties on metal substrates.
