  • Patent number: 7463713
Abstract: In a method and a device for generating a digital tomosynthetic 3D X-ray image of an examined object, a number of individual images are made of the examined object at different projection angles relative to the normal of the patient examination table by moving the X-ray tube. In a starting position, the X-ray tube is operated with a dose that is lower than that used for subsequent individual images. At least one preliminary image is recorded at the starting position, which is then evaluated to determine the radiographic parameters required for the recording of the subsequent individual images.

  • Patent number: 7342999
Abstract: In a method and apparatus for generation of a digital x-ray image of an examination subject with an x-ray tube and a digital x-ray detector, a preliminary total dose required for correct exposure is determined using prior knowledge and a complete pre-image of the examination subject is acquired with a partial dose that is smaller than the preliminary total dose. • Patent number: 7327826
Abstract: In order to achieve a particularly good image sharpness, in a method and apparatus for radiological imaging of an examination subject, a digital x-ray detector is arranged behind the subject and a scattered-ray grid is positionable between the subject and the x-ray detector. • Publication number: 20070183582
Abstract: A focus-detector arrangement of an X-ray apparatus is disclosed for generating projective or tomographic phase contrast recordings with a phase grating. According to at least one embodiment of the invention, in the gaps between its bars, the phase grating includes a filler material whose linear attenuation coefficient in the relevant energy range is greater than that of the bars. The height of the filler material in the gaps is dimensioned on the one hand so that the X-radiation with the energy used for measuring the phase shift generates a phase shift in the X-radiation such that, after the phase grating, the rays which pass through the bars are phase shifted by one half wavelength relative to the rays which pass through the gaps with the filler material.
