  • Publication number: 20240129646
Abstract: In global shutter image sensors, the light shields are often not completely lightproof and incoming light causes continued generation of charges in the shielded storage units even after the global shutter functionality has ended exposure, such as during the readout of the recorded image. This ‘parasitic light’ degrades the recorded image. Disclosed is a method, performed by an imaging device with a global shutter image sensor, for recording an image with reduced degrading effects from parasitic light in the image sensor. The disclosed imaging device and related method combine the global shutter functionality of the global shutter image sensor with a shutter such as a mechanical shutter. A precise synchronisation of the closing of the shutter means that the shutter can block all incoming light—and thus stop parasitic light in the image sensor—shortly after the exposure is stopped by the global shutter image sensor.

  • Publication number: 20170103412
Abstract: A computer-based system for presenting brand integration, embedded marketing, product placement, sponsorships and other branded entertainment analysis and suggested opportunities is disclosed using a brand integration matching server system, connected to a public network, wherein the brand integration matching server system is configured to: receive a brand integration seeker's data and generate a brand integration seeker's suggested opportunities, receive a brand marketer's data and generate a page, receive an entertainment producer's data and generate a page; and calculate a probability value generated from correlating the brand marketer's page with the entertainment producer's page, such correlation resulting in a potential match if the probability value meets or exceeds a predetermined threshold; in the event of a potential match, present the data associated with the entertainment producer to the brand marketer based on one or more of the probability values, and present the data associated with the brand

  • Publication number: 20150216483
Abstract: A device and a method for analyzing an input signal (1) representing a neural activity of a nerve containing nerve fibers originating from baroreceptors from a patient. E.g. neural activity recorded with an electrode implanted to detect Vagus nerve activity. The invention is based on the insight that this neural activity can be used to determine a value indicative of the patient's blood pressure (BP). An ECG signal (2) can be used for deriving a trigger feature for processing of the nerve activity data, e.g. to arrive at a profile of the patient's Blood Pressure Pulse. E.g. the device can include a Vagus nerve stimulation unit which is controlled in response to an output from the calculation of blood pressure (BP), and/or features related to the Blood Pressure Pulse.

  • Publication number: 20060172675
Abstract: An apparatus for removal bones from a fish fillet is presented. A conveyor is provided for conveying the fish fillet and supporting means is arranged on said conveyor for supporting the fish fillet as it is being conveyed by means of imposing the fish fillet on it so that the bones to be removed are exposed. A second supporting means is arranged sidewise to said first supporting means for maintaining the fish fillet in a fixed position as the exposed bones are removed with a bone removal unit, which is arranged above the conveying means.
