    Abstract: Among various embodiments of the present disclosure, a ceiling raceway can be formed with an enclosable compartment for a number of cables locatable above a lower surface of a drop ceiling. The enclosable compartment can have a bottom hinged surface that is openable to enable access to an interior of the enclosable compartment. A flange can extend coplanar with the bottom hinged surface in a closed position to support a section of the drop ceiling such that the section is substantially flush with the bottom hinged surface in the closed position.
