  • Patent number: 10434869
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for a latch plate assembly for coupling pipes to a housing of an engine component. In one example, the latch plate assembly comprises: a first latch plate couplable to a first pipe; and a second latch plate couplable to a second pipe, the first and second latch plates being couplable to the housing, wherein the first and second latch plates are together configured to define a bore at an interface between the first and second latch plates. The bore receives a fastener to couple the first and second latch plates to the housing and wherein the bore has a perimeter, the first latch plate defines a first portion of the bore perimeter and the second latch plate defines a second portion of the bore perimeter, the first and second portion together defining the bore perimeter.

  • Patent number: 10222109
Abstract: A temperature control method includes obtaining, by a controller, a space temperature value, a space temperature set point, a discharge air temperature value, and a discharge air temperature set point. The method further includes determining a compressor speed using a first PI loop based on the space temperature set point and the space temperature value, and determining a supply fan speed using a second PI loop based on the discharge air temperature set point and the discharge air temperature value. The temperature control method further includes outputting a first control signal that controls the speed of a variable speed compressor based on the determination of whether the compressor speed is within the compressor operation range and a second control signal to control the speed of a variable speed supply fan based on the determination of whether the supply fan speed is within the supply fan operation range.

  • Publication number: 20150338111
Abstract: A method and apparatus for setting the speed of a fan during operation of an HVAC system are provided. The HVAC system may comprise a heat exchanger, a fan, and a sensor disposed within an outdoor unit of the HVAC system. A controller coupled to the fan and sensor may receive a first signal from the sensor indicating one or more ambient air temperature values and determine a desired speed setting of the fan using at least the one or more ambient air temperatures indicated by the first signal. The controller may further generate a control signal based on the desired speed setting and transmit the control signal to the first fan.

  • Publication number: 20150276299
Abstract: In various implementations, an air conditioner may manage operations of fan(s) of the air conditioner. The air conditioner may determine properties of the air conditioner (e.g., ambient temperature and/or pressure of a portion of the air conditioner) and determine setting(s) for fan(s) and/or a crankcase heater based on the determined properties.

  • Patent number: 3964719
Abstract: A mobile stone crushing machine comprising a chassis on which is mounted a stone crushing unit and endless conveyor, a front end of which is adapted to collect stones from the ground as the machine is advanced over the ground, and from which the stones are continuously discharged into a stone crushing unit, characterized in that the stone crushing unit includes two crushing zones, each of which incorporates at least one crushing roller, so arranged that the stones to be crushed first pass through a nip associated with the roller at the first zone and on discharge from this nip the partially crushed stones and other matter then pass through a nip associated with the roller at the other zone. Preferably, the two crushing zones are arranged one above the other and each incorporates a pair of crushing rollers, one of which is rotatable about a fixed axis and driven and the other of which is supported upon a pair of trailing swing arms.
