  • Publication number: 20240151965
Abstract: Head-mounted display systems with power saving functionality are disclosed. The systems can include a frame configured to be supported on the head of the user. The systems can also include a head-mounted display disposed on the frame, one or more sensors, and processing electronics in communication with the display and the one or more sensors. In some implementations, the processing electronics can be configured to cause the system to reduce power of one or more components in response to at least in part on a determination that the frame is in a certain position (e.g., upside-down or on top of the head of the user). In some implementations, the processing electronics can be configured to cause the system to reduce power of one or more components in response to at least in part on a determination that the frame has been stationary for at least a threshold period of time.

  • Publication number: 20240148434
Abstract: A catheter assembly comprises a catheter having an axial lumen that houses electrical wires. A plurality of splines, each supporting at least one electrode, are connected to the wires and a distal cap. The splines have a basket shape in a deployed position and a collapsed shape when received inside the catheter axial lumen. A flexible tube extending outwardly from the catheter lumen has a tube lumen of a first, inner diameter and a distal tube end that is spaced proximally from the distal cap. A guide shaft extending proximally from the distal cap has a second, outer diameter that is less than the first diameter of the tube lumen. With the guide shaft received in the tube lumen, an annulus is formed by the tube lumen surrounding the guide shaft. With the splines in the deployed position, the annulus permits flushing of the area adjacent to the deployed splines.

  • Patent number: 11958910
Abstract: Provided herein are bispecific antigen-binding molecules that bind HER2 and methods of use thereof. The bispecific antigen-binding molecules comprise a first and a second antigen-binding domain, wherein the first and second antigen-binding domains bind to two different (preferably non-overlapping) epitopes of the extracellular domain of human HER2. The bispecific antigen-binding molecules cluster on the surface of HER2 IHC2+ and IHC3+ cells, and are internalized into the cellular lysosomes. Also included are antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) comprising the antibodies or bispecific antigen-binding molecules provided herein linked to a cytotoxic agent, radionuclide, or other moiety, as well as methods of treating cancer in a subject by administering to the subject a bispecific antigen-binding molecule or an ADC thereof.

  • Publication number: 20240099274
Abstract: The present invention relates to a preferably computer-implemented method of raising a group of monogastric animals Issues such as exposure of the animals to an initiator of a disease are recognized at an early stage by ex vivo analysis of blood samples. Said analysis is done where the animals are raised using point-of-care devices. Accuracy of separation between affected and non-affected animals is increased by measuring a set of pre-determined blood parameters. The landless monogastric animal production system of the invention facilitates implementation of the method of the invention.

  • Publication number: 20240095983
Abstract: Various techniques facilitate the development of an image library that can be used to train and/or validate an automated visual inspection (AVI) model, such an AVI neural network for image classification. In one aspect, an arithmetic transposition algorithm is used to generate synthetic images from original images by transposing features (e.g., defects) onto the original images, with pixel-level realism. In other aspects, digital inpainting techniques are used to generate realistic synthetic images from original images. Deep learning-based inpainting techniques may be used to add, remove, and/or modify defects or other depicted features. In still other aspects, quality control techniques are used to assess the suitability of image libraries for training and/or validation of AVI models, and/or to assess whether individual images are suitable for inclusion in such libraries.

  • Patent number: 7763059
Abstract: In light therapy apparatus is defined to include a UV light source secured to a casing. A shroud is placed over an exposed portion of the UV light source and is secured or attached around the perimeter of the casing end. Since the UV light source can generate a significant amount of heat, the casing includes an internal fan. Various tubing configurations may be used to help direct the air flow from the fan around the UV light source.
