  • Patent number: 10757932
Abstract: An automated bioreactor system for decellularizing an organ includes a main chamber for containing the organ. The system further includes a reagent chamber containing a liquid phase reagent. A reagent conduit delivers the liquid phase reagent to the main chamber, and a perfusion conduit delivers the reagent from the reagent outlet in the main chamber into the organ. A perfusion pump drives the flow of the reagent. A perfusion pressure sensor detects a pressure of the flowing reagent. A control system controls the perfusion pump to drive the flow of the reagent based on a received input representative of a desired pressure and a received input of the detected pressure. The control system may automatically perform all of the steps of a decellularization protocol based on sensor input. An automated waste decontamination system may also be provided.

  • Patent number: 10274175
Abstract: Moving light fixture and method for controlling the position of a moving light fixture. In one example, the moving light fixture includes a housing, light sources, a stepper motor, a magnetic position encoder, and an electronic controller. The stepper motor rotates the housing. The magnetic position encoder is configured to transmit a position signal indicating an angular position of the housing. The electronic controller determines the angular position of the housing based on the position signal. The electronic controller also determines a full step of the stepper motor based on the angular position of the housing, and a micro step of the stepper motor. The electronic controller also determines a current position of the moving light fixture based on the full step and the micro step. The electronic controller drives the stepper motor to move the moving light fixture from the current position to a target position.

  • Publication number: 20160071246
Abstract: A raster unit is configured to generate different sample patterns for adjacent pixels within a given frame. In addition, the raster unit may adjust the sample patterns between frames. The raster unit includes an index unit that selects a sample pattern table for use with a current frame. For a given pixel, the index unit extracts a sample pattern from the selected sample pattern table. The extracted sample pattern is used to generate coverage information for the pixel. The coverage information for all pixels is then used to generate an image. The resultant image may then be filtered to reduce or remove artifacts induced by the changing of sample locations.

  • Publication number: 20140180894
Abstract: A system and methods for dynamically changing a trade order quantity in an electronic trading environment are described herein. According to one example embodiment, an automated trading tool determines if a leaned on quantity of a trading strategy has increased or decreased and if so, dynamically changing a desired order quantity to reflect the change in the leaned on quantity. Dynamically changing an order quantity may be more profitable for a trader as order queue position may be maintained and portion of the desired order quantity may get filled; rather than a trader losing their order queue position and/or taking a chance of not getting any of their order quantity filled.
