  • Patent number: 8097838
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for increasing the range of shells (1, 8, 13) charged with an explosive substance and other types of shell, which function as carriers of the one or other type of active payload. The method according to the invention thus provides an opportunity for increasing the range of fire of most types of artillery piece by increasing the muzzle velocity and the gliding flight capability of shells or projectiles fired from them, but without the need to increase the energy content in the propellant charges utilized for firing the shells or the projectiles concerned. The novelty proposed in accordance with the invention instead represents a radical modification to the design of the shell (1, 8, 13) utilized in conjunction therewith. The invention also relates to a shell charged with an explosive substance or provided with some other active payload which has been given a long range.

  • Publication number: 20060214366
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus for separating overlapping objects (3) advanced on a conveyer. The conveyer is divided into two individually driven paths, a first (1) and a second (2). The paths (1, 2) each have a bending roller (5, 6) lying adjacent one another and being interconnected and moveable in the horizontal plane. When separation is to take place, the conveyer paths (1, 2) and the bending rollers (5, 6) are advanced forwards at the same speed. Thereafter, the bending rollers (5, 6) and the second conveyer belt (2) are accelerated momentarily whereafter the bending rollers (5, 6) return to the original speed. The The disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus for separating overlapping objects (3) advanced on a conveyer. • Patent number: 6627026
Abstract: The disclosure relates to an apparatus in an adjustable creasing tool (1). The creasing tool (1) includes two mutually co-operating creasing rollers, a male roller (2) and a female roller (3), a gear wheel transmission with a housing (8) for operation and mutual co-ordination of the creasing rollers (2, 3), means for adjusting the mutual position of rotation of the two creasing rollers (2, 3), means for adjusting the position of one of the creasing rollers along its axis of rotation, and means for adjusting the mutual spacing between the axes of rotation (4, 5) of the creasing rollers. Each respective shaft (4, 5) is fixedly connected to each respective gear wheel (6, 7) in the gear wheel transmission by means of rotationally rigid, both radially and axially limited, flexible couplings (9). These permit adjustment of the mutual positioning of the rollers (2, 3) without the meshing relationship of the transmission (8) needing to be affected.

  • Patent number: 6302289
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a safety device in an opening arrangement for packaging containers, the opening arrangement having a part fixedly connected to the packaging container and a lid portion displaceable in relation thereto. In the closed position of the opening arrangement, a tongue-shaped projection (9) extends via a slit (15) into a recess (14) in the openable part. The projection (9) will thus be partly visible from the upper side of the opening arrangement until such time as the moving part (4) has been displaced to an open position in which the projection (9) irreversibly departs from the recess (14) and gives a clear, visual indication that the opening arrangement has previously been opened.
