  • Patent number: 9631720
Abstract: A method is provided for reducing the reaction time of an automatic transmission of a motor vehicle, the vehicle having a hydraulic control unit with a pressure regulator, from an engine stop of an automatic start-stop mechanism. The oil volume that is still present in the hydraulic control unit (HCU) of the transmission prior to the stopping of the internal combustion engine is used for the supply of oil for the actuation of the shifting elements of the transmission upon an engine start.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 11, 2014
Date of Patent: April 25, 2017
    Assignee: ZF Friedrichshafen AG
Inventors: Michael Sohler, Thilo Schmidt, Thomas Raab
  • Patent number: 9314490
Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions of rosmarinic acid or its derivatives and to the use of a hydrolytic enzyme or of microorganism containing or producing hydrolytic enzymes in these compositions. The invention also pertains to methods for improving the biological effects of the rosemary extracts and for administering such compositions to a human or animal subject for improving the skin, coat, hair or health of the subject.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 18, 2013
Date of Patent: April 19, 2016
    Assignees: Nestec S.A., L'Oréal

  • Publication number: 20150133265
Abstract: Within the framework of the method for reducing the reaction time of an automatic transmission of a motor vehicle, comprising a hydraulic control unit with a pressure regulator (1) from an engine stop of the automatic start-stop mechanism, the oil volume that is still present in the hydraulic control unit (HOU) of the transmission prior to the stopping of the internal combustion engine is used for the supply of oil for the actuation of the shifting elements of the transmission upon an engine start.

  • Patent number: 8790728
Abstract: A taste enhancing savoury base comprises between 8 to 80% of naturally derived compounds taken in the group consisting of glutamate, IMP and GMP, and further comprises naturally food derived compounds such as organic acids and their salts, amino acids, peptides and aroma compounds. The base is obtained through a prokaryotic fermentation with a bacteria taken from the group consisting of Corynebacterium glutamicum, Corynebacterium ammoniagenes, Corynebacterium casei, Corynebacterium efficiens, Brevibacterium lactofermentum and Bacillus subtilis. The base is not purified by crystallization or chromatographic methods.
