Abstract: A personal watercraft (PWC) is provided. The PWC includes a body having a bottom portion, a top portion covering the bottom portion, and a storage space disposed between the top and bottom portions; and a power train disposed on or in the body. The power train includes a motor, a battery, a controller, an impeller, and an impeller water pump, and is configured for moving the body through water. Further, the body and the power train collectively weigh about 150 pounds or less.

Abstract: A power adapter cord for providing electrical power to an electronic item of merchandise from an external source of electrical power includes a cable containing at least one conductor and having a connector at one end configured to lock into a corresponding connector of a power input port provided on the item of merchandise. The connector and the corresponding connector define a mechanical and electrical connection having a connector extraction force greater than the connector extraction force of a standard connector of the same type. Accordingly, the connector prevents accidental or malicious removal of the connector from the power input port and/or discourages theft of the item of merchandise because the connector cannot be forcibly removed without damaging the corresponding connector and thereby rendering the item of merchandise inoperable. In exemplary embodiments, the connector is a modified micro-USB plug.

Abstract: A security device for an item of merchandise having at least one removable component includes a sensor attached to the item of merchandise. The sensor has an extension that extends outwardly from the sensor in a first direction generally parallel to an axis defined by the item of merchandise sufficiently to prevent a removable component from being removed from the item of merchandise. The extension is preferably a plate having an outer surface that is adhered to the sensor and an inner surface that is adhered to the item of merchandise. The extension includes a leg depending from the plate in a second direction that defines an angle with the axis defined by the item of merchandise sufficiently to prevent a removable component from being removed from the item of merchandise when the plate is adhered to the item of merchandise. The sensor is electrically connected to an alarm circuit.
