  • Patent number: 4550855
Abstract: This invention relates to compact, easily transportable, moist tissue or towelette dispensers which are so designed that they maintain the tissues contained within the dispenser in moist condition for exceptionally long periods of time, thus providing long shelf life for merchants, who stock the dispensers, as well as a long life span of the dispensers for the consumer.

  • Patent number: 4244493
Abstract: A package and dispensing device for a continuous roll of pre-moistened towelettes which has an outer container that holds therein the roll of pre-moistened towelettes, the roll being surrounded by a bag which prevents the roll from drying out. The top of the bag is gathered together and held in a substantially sealed condition by a sealing and dispensing plate with a slit and hole therein, and the towelettes are pulled away from the roll and out of the top of the bag through the hole in the sealing and dispensing plate surrounding the bag.

  • Patent number: 4171047
Abstract: A sheet of material having a height greater than the vertical wickability thereof when a bottom edge is in a liquid medium, said sheet being folded one or more times to lessen the effective height of the sheet and providing complete wickability for the entire height of the folded sheet. The sheet in multiples may be in the form of a rolled web, a stack, a folded stack, or in other forms, and is used to provide moistened towelettes.

  • Patent number: 4147441
Abstract: A deodorant applicator comprising a hand held and manipulated container having an open top, an elongated impregnated web therein, an element closing the container and forming a working head for exposing and supporting the web step by step across its surface for application of the deodorant, the web being led out of the container at its leading end and severed, sheet by sheet, after use.

  • Patent number: 4120414
Abstract: A self-venting cap for containers of materials that produce vapor comprising a cap, a rigid tube thereon terminating at the geometrical center of the container, a fully flexible tube extending from the rigid tube, and a float at the end of the flexible tube.

  • Patent number: 4017002
Abstract: A substantially airtight container for an elongated web of perforated wet impregnated tissue-like material, the web being free-flowing and having a minimum of friction within the container, being manually pulled to be dispensed through a substantially closed but yielding slit in a wall of the container, the slit opening slightly to permit the exit of the web but tending to return to closed condition especially at its ends, to impart sufficient drag on the web to cause progressive severing of the web into separate sheets as the web is pulled through the slit, leaving a tip of the web still contained exposed to be grasped for the next dispensing step.

  • Patent number: 3972473
Abstract: A combined spray and evaporative air freshener or the like device which comprises a generally cylindrical ornamental shroud open at one end and having an apertured top, for application to a conventional aerosol spray container having a manually depressible valve for actuating the same. The top of the shroud has an interior bottom opening cup which in general surrounds the actuator for the valve and receives the spray upon depression of the valve stem, the spray falling in droplets into the valve cup.An impregnated absorptive ring may be placed in the cup in position to be impinged upon by the spray in situ, the impregnated material being activated by the spray when the shroud is depressed, releasing additional fragrance into the air. The ring may also be placed in the usual valve cup surrounding the valve and in this case it is activated by the spray material dripping on it.
