Abstract: A method for fabricating a flexographic printing plate for printing image patterns including one or more uniform image regions includes defining a repeating tile having a pattern of feature shapes positioned at pseudo-random feature locations. A plate formation pattern corresponding to the image pattern is determined wherein the repeating tile is applied in a tiled arrangement to the uniform image regions. The plate formation pattern is used to form a flexographic printing plate, wherein regions of the flexographic printing plate corresponding to the uniform image regions of the image pattern include a pattern of raised features in positions corresponding to the feature positions in the repeating tile.

Abstract: An avionics unit assembly for an aircraft can include an avionics unit (e.g., an underwater locator device, “ULD”), and a battery to power the avionics unit. The avionics unit assembly can further include a housing that encases the avionics unit and the battery. The housing includes a vent port for exhausting an emission from the housing during a failure of the avionics unit. The avionics unit assembly can further include one or more of a suppressor that filters the emission, a shield element that is resistant to chemical and/or thermal effects of the emission, and a bracket for mounting the avionics unit to a surface. A method integrating the avionics unit assembly onto a forward aircraft bulkhead at a mount location under an aircraft radome and for manufacturing the avionics unit, and an aircraft including the avionics unit are also described.

Abstract: Method and apparatus to efficiently detect/correct memory errors. A command and an address associated with a data transaction may be received. Parity information associated with the command/address may be received. In response to detecting a parity error, a data array of a memory device may be locked. An indicator indicating the parity error may be sent. A first portion of a memory page to store data may be reserved. A second portion of the memory page to store error correction codes associated with the data may be reserved. The second portion's size may equal or exceed the error correction code capacity needed for the maximum possible data stored in the first portion. A cache line of data may be stored in the first portion. An error correction code associated with the cache line of data may be stored in the second portion.
