  • Patent number: 8529310
Abstract: A riding toy includes a body with a spring assembly supporting the body on a base so that the body may be moved in first and second motions with respect to the base. The riding toy also includes a microcontroller and first and second motion sensors responsive to the first and second motions, respectively. The first and second motion sensors are positioned on the body and in electronic communication with the microcontroller. A sound synthesizing circuit is in electronic communication with the microcontroller and a speaker. The microcontroller is programmed to provide a first sound effect when the first motion sensor detects the first motion and a second sound effect when the second sensor detects the second motion. The first sound effect is varied based on a speed of the first motion and preempts the second sound effect if both the first and second motions are taking place simultaneously. The riding toy also includes a light sensor in electronic communication with the microprocessor.

Abstract: A ramp for a ride-on toy includes a base adapted to be positioned on a surface. The base has a top, sidewalls and an interior space. An end ramp section is also adapted to be positioned on the surface. A middle ramp section is removably connected between the base and the end ramp section. The end ramp section and the middle ramp section are sized to be removably positioned within the interior space of the base for storage. The ramp sections include a track formed on their top surfaces sized for miniature toy vehicles. The base features a roller wheel and a handle for pulling the base along the surface when the ramp sections and ride-on toy are stored in the base.

  • Patent number: 7455308
Abstract: A riding toy converts between a traditional or conventional upright trike configuration and a low slung chopper configuration. A front frame tube is joined to a head tube to which the front wheel and handlebars are piviotally attached. A rear frame tube is joined to a pair of rear wheels. The front and rear frame tubes are joined by a pivot shaft so that they rotate relative to one another. As a result, the rear portion of the riding toy may be flipped over to reconfigure the riding toy between the trike and chopper configurations. An opening is formed in the front frame tube and receives spring-loaded buttons that turn with the rear frame tube so that the riding toy may be locked in the desired configuration. The front frame tube is also split and features a clamp so that it can clamp down on a guide sleeve that is attached to the rear frame tube.

  • Patent number: 7443343
Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle mobile radio holder for mounting a mobile radio terminal in a vehicle, with the vehicle mobile radio holder having a housing with a first housing part which is shaped to hold a mobile radio terminal. The vehicle mobile radio holder also has an electrical interface for connection of an external antenna to the vehicle mobile radio holder, and a coupling antenna which is electrically connected to the interface, for non-contacting electromagnetic coupling of RF signals between the coupling antenna and the antenna of the mobile radio terminal which is inserted into the vehicle mobile radio holder. The vehicle mobile radio holder also has one or more elements for reflection of electromagnetic radiation which has been emitted from the antenna of the mobile radio terminal inserted into the vehicle mobile radio holder and has not been injected into the coupling antenna, and/or has one or more elements for absorption of this electromagnetic radiation.

  • Patent number: 7402111
Abstract: A rocking horse has a stand that includes a base portion with four tubular columns. The columns each have a tubular wall defining an interior. The wall has a top end with a top rim defining a top opening to the interior. An anchor pin extends through the wall and into the interior so that the pin engages two separated locations on the tubular wall. An S-shaped hook has a first end directly attached to the pin within the interior of the tubular wall and a second end extending out of the top opening on each column. The rocking horse also has four resilient members with outer ends connected to the second ends of the hooks, and inner ends connected to the toy horse for suspending the toy horse from the columns.

  • Patent number: 7361095
Abstract: A stand for a rocking horse or other toy includes a plurality of legs, each with a top end and a bottom end. A foot is attached to the bottom end of each leg. Each foot has a top end, a bottom rim, and an outer wall defining an interior and generally extending from the top end to the bottom rim. The foot also has an interior sidewall defining a pocket with an opening in a vicinity of the top end for receiving the bottom end of a corresponding leg. Slots are also formed in the top end of each foot to receive braces running between the legs. The toy is suspended on the stand from the top ends of the legs so that it is permitted to rock relative to the stand.

  • Patent number: 7259722
Abstract: The invention relates to a holder for a mobile radio terminal and an antenna coupler for a mobile radio terminal. The holder is provided with an interface for connection of an external antenna, in particular of a motor vehicle antenna, and with a coupling structure for electromagnetic coupling of RF signals between the holder and the antenna of a mobile radio terminal which is located in the holder. The coupling structure is arranged in the holder in such a way that, when the mobile radio terminal is inserted, the coupling structure is positioned in the vicinity of the mobile radio terminal. The coupling structure is in the form of a two-layer or multilayer coupling structure with two or more coupling structure elements arranged one above the other.
