  • Patent number: 8406750
Abstract: A method for establishing a communication connection between a control center and a terminal is described, the control center (preferably a server) transmitting a request to establish a connection to a terminal (preferably a client), and in the case of a correct request, the terminal automatically establishing a connection (client-server communication) to the control center.

    Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbH
Inventors: Thomas Sonnenrein, Joachim Attig, Norbert Bauer
  • Patent number: 8060873
Abstract: A method for remote programming of a program-controlled device, and a system having an interface to receive program data and a legitimization, as well as a remotely programmable, program-controlled device, which includes a processor and a program memory, are provided. In the method, program data are remotely transmitted from a control station to the interface and buffer-stored there in a buffer store. Subsequently, a legitimization is transmitted from the control station to the interface, and from there to the program-controlled device. The device checks the legitimization and imports the program data from the buffer store if the legitimization check is positive.

  • Patent number: 7096101
Abstract: A method for carrying out a remote diagnosis in a motor vehicle is provided, including initializing the remote diagnosis, determining diagnostic data in the vehicle as a function of diagnostic mechanisms and/or diagnostic parameters available in the vehicle at the time of the diagnostic data determination, and transferring at least portions of the diagnostic data to an external service center which is designed to evaluate the transmitted diagnostic data. The diagnostic mechanisms and/or diagnostic parameters may be at least in part transferred from the service center to the vehicle upon execution of initialization.

  • Publication number: 20050159964
Abstract: The method described is used for recording operating data of a technical device. According to the method, a command sequence is initially generated, which is transmitted to a monitoring unit in the technical device. The command sequence is processed in a processing unit in the monitoring unit. In addition, a device for recording operating data and a computer program for implementing the method according to the present invention are provided.
