  • Patent number: 11918240
Abstract: A clot removal system comprises a catheter, a vacuum source, and a controller. The catheter comprises a proximal end, a distal end, and controller operating parameters and defines a lumen configured to be filled with a liquid column having a proximal portion. The vacuum source is configured to supply vacuum. The controller is configured to carry out a control pattern of turning on and off the vacuum based upon the controller operating parameters and is configured to receive the controller operating parameters in an automatic response to the catheter being operatively connected to at least one of the vacuum source and the controller and, responsive to the connection, to carry out the control pattern to change a level of vacuum at the distal end of the catheter.

  • Patent number: 4472473
Abstract: The invention is a structure for a strong, lightweight corrugated sheet. The sheet is planar or curved and includes a plurality of corrugation segments, each segment being comprised of a generally U-shaped corrugation 12 with a part-cylindrical crown 13 and cap strip 20, and straight side walls 14 and 15 with secondary corrugations 16 oriented at right angles to said side walls. The cap strip 20 is bonded to the crown 13 and the longitudinal edge 18 of said cap strip extends beyond edge 17 at the intersection between said crown and said side walls. The high strength relative to weight of the structure makes it desirable for use in aircraft or spacecraft.

  • Patent number: 4411380
Abstract: Lightweight capped honeycomb stiffeners 18 for use in fabricating metal or metal/matrix exterior structural panels 14 on aerospace type vehicles 10 and the process for fabricating same are disclosed. The stiffener stringers are formed in sheets (FIG. 6), cut to the desired width and length and brazed in spaced relationship to a skin 16 (FIG. 2) with the honeycomb material serving directly as the required lightweight stiffeners and not requiring separate metal encasement for the exposed honeycomb cells.
