  • Patent number: 8714992
Abstract: A receptacle connector having a base part, which has at least one insulation displacement contact for making electrical contact with an electrical conductor, and having a top part, which has at least one conductor infeed opening for in each case one electrical conductor with which contact is to be made, and at least one contact accommodation opening, which in each case opens out into an associated conductor infeed opening, for accommodating an insulation displacement contact of the base part when the top part is fitted onto the base part. The receptacle connector is designed for fitting into a housing. For this purpose, the base part and/or the top part have sealing lips with a contour which is matched to an associated housing wall in order to fit the base part and/or the top part into a housing wall in a sealed manner.

  • Publication number: 20090088030
Abstract: A description is given of a conductor terminal (1) having an insulating-material housing (2) and at least one leaf-spring contact (3) which is installed in the insulating-material housing (2) and has a carrying frame (8) and a leaf-spring tab (9) which projects from the carrying frame into an associated conductor-introduction opening (4) formed in the insulating-material housing (2). On that side of the insulating-material housing (2) which is located opposite the inlet into the conductor-introduction opening (4), an overload-protection web (11), which is formed integrally with the insulating-material housing (2), projects into the spring region of the leaf-spring tab (9) and is arranged between the carrying frame and the leaf-spring tab (9) such that, when the leaf-spring tab (9) is deflected to the maximum admissible extent, defined by the overload-protection web (11), in the direction of the carrying frame (8), the end of the leaf-spring tab (9) rests on the overload-protection web (11).

  • Publication number: 20080233808
Abstract: A leaf spring contact (1) for an electrical conductor terminal is described which is formed in one piece from one piece of metal sheeting and has at least one end a solder lug (15, 19) formed integrally from the metal sheeting, and a leaf spring blade (10), wherein the solder lug (15, 19) changes into a spring area (2) having a greater width than the width of the solder lug (15, 19) and in the spring area (2), the leaf spring blade (10) of the metal sheeting is exposed in such a manner that the metal sheeting strips adjacent to the leaf spring blade (10) form a support frame for the leaf spring blade (10) which has two longitudinal frame carriers (11) extending spaced apart from one another in parallel with one another, and a frame cross part which is joined in one piece with the blade heel of the leaf spring blade (10), and wherein the leaf spring blade (10) is bent out of the plane of the surface extent of the support frame.
