  • Patent number: 7200963
Abstract: A case has a base end with a base plate and an open upper end thereby forming an interior recess. A spring has an upper end and a lower end positioned on the base plate. A follower is fabricated of metal with a polytetrafluoroethylene coating positioned within the recess upon the spring and with a central section having a downwardly extending front leg and a downwardly extending rear leg. The lower end of the rear leg has a 180 degree bend with an upwardly extending portion terminating in an inwardly extending portion overlying the central portion with a supplemental bend between the upwardly extending portion and the inwardly extending portion.

  • Patent number: 7093386
Abstract: A removable base magazine is in a rectilinear configuration. The magazine has side faces and front and rear faces. The magazine has inwardly flared flanges spaced beneath the lower extent of the side and front and rear faces. A base plate assembly has a base plate and a retainer. The base plate has essentially parallel side edges, a rear edge and a front edge with a circular aperture. The retainer has essentially parallel side edges, a rear edge and a front edge. A cylindrical projection extends downwardly from the bottom face through the circular aperture of the base plate for the coupling there between. The rear and front edges of the retainer are curved upwardly from the base plate. A resilient element within the magazine is adapted to urge bullets within the magazine upwardly toward the barrel.

  • Patent number: 6952894
Abstract: A cartridge magazine system comprises a case. The case has a hollow generally rectilinear configuration with two side faces and a front face and a flat rear face with the case having a base end with a base plate and an open upper end thereby forming an interior recess. A spring has an upper end and a lower end positioned on the base plate. A follower is positioned within the recess upon the spring with a central section having a front and a rear. Lastly, a dimple in a generally hemispherical configuration extends upwardly from the central section and is located to thereby fit into the annular recess of a bullet there above.

  • Patent number: 6876756
Abstract: A container security system comprising a container with a first section and a second section; a touch pad for fingerprint identification attached to the outside of the first section; a sensor with at least one pre-stored fingerprint operatively coupled to the touch pad; a solenoid coupled to the sensor and having a plunger reciprocable from a rest position to a withdrawn position in response to a signal from the sensor; a latch attached to the remote end of the plunger having a recess therein; and a release assembly coupled to the second section with a finger removably positionable in the recess to maintain the container locked in a closed orientation but with the finger being readily removable from the recess to allow the container to assume an open orientation when the latch and plunger are reciprocated in response to a fingerprint of a user on the touch pad matching a pre-stored fingerprint in the sensor.

  • Patent number: 6560907
Abstract: A cartridge magazine system comprises a case. The case is fabricated of a heat treated metal and is of a hollow generally rectilinear configuration. The case has two side faces, a front face and a flat rear face. The case has a base end with a base plate and an open upper end thereby forming an interior recess. A spring is provided having upper and lower ends positioned on the base plate. Further provided is a follower. The follower is positioned within the recess upon the spring. A central section is provided. The central section has a downwardly extending front and rear legs. The lower end of the rear leg has a 180 degree bend with an upwardly extending portion terminating in an inwardly extending portion overlying the central portion. A supplemental bend is provided between the upwardly extending portion and the inwardly extending portion.

  • Patent number: 6320975
Abstract: Disclosed is a retaining device for lockingly receiving a firearm wherein the firearm has a barrel, barrel sight, grip, hammer and trigger guard. The retaining device comprises a holster having a closed forward portion and an open rearward portion. A guide channel is positioned within the holster for accepting the barrel and trigger guard of the firearm. A fingerprint identification means has a fingerprint input device positioned upon the external surface of the holster at an intermediate extent. Further provided is a comparison means for comparing an inputted fingerprint with a stored fingerprint image, and a signal generating means for generating a first signal when an inputted fingerprint matches a stored fingerprint and a second signal when an inputted fingerprint fails to match a stored fingerprint. The signal generating means is in electrical communication with and controls a firearm retaining means.

  • Patent number: 6055758
Abstract: A base plate for a pistol with a recessed handle for a magazine comprising, a base plate having a generally rectangular central extent with parallel sides and an arcuate front slidably coupleable to the lower extent of a magazine positionable within a handle recess. The base plate has folded-over side regions located above the central extent and spaced therefrom and a folded-over arcuate front region located adjacent to the central extent at the front of the base plate and between the side regions. The folded-over arcuate front regions are crimped to form an abutment surface. The side regions are adapted to be slid over side flanges of a magazine to close the lower extent of the magazine. The base plate is fabricated of hardened stamped steel.
