  • Patent number: 11920735
Abstract: Method for thermal insulation of an evacuable container comprising an inner container, an outer container and a cavity disposed between the inner container and the outer container, wherein said method comprises a) using a vacuum pump to reduce a pressure in the cavity and after achieving a first value of the pressure interrupting the connection to the vacuum pump, b) subsequently making a connection from a reservoir container of the thermally insulating particulate material to a filling opening provided in the region of the cavity, c) setting the evacuable container into motion, wherein the thermally insulating particulate material flows into the cavity according to a) and the pressure in the cavity increases due to the air introduced with the thermally insulating particulate material, d) terminating the filling at a second value of the pressure by interrupting the connection from the cavity to the reservoir container, e) repeating step a), wherein the output of the vacuum pump with which the cavity is deaer

  • Publication number: 20230028415
Abstract: A method for operating an SCR catalytic converter in an exhaust gas system of an internal combustion engine with ammonia dosing upstream of the catalytic converter. The method includes: determining, on the basis of a catalytic converter model, the efficiency of nitrogen oxide conversion in the catalytic converter; determining an ammonia fill level in the catalytic converter; determining a nominal ammonia fill level in the catalytic converter, based on the determined efficiency and a pre-definable target nitrogen oxide conversion; and controlling the ammonia dosing depending on the nominal ammonia fill level and the ammonia fill level.

  • Publication number: 20200165491
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing an adhesive tape (1), in particular a wrapping tape for wrapping around cables in automobiles. A strip-shaped carrier (2) is provided with a UV cross-linkable adhesive coating (5). In addition to an acrylate-based pressure-sensitive adhesive with embedded photoinitiators, the adhesive coating (5) comprises at least one additive. The photoinitiators are activated for cross-linking by irradiation with a UV light source (6) emitting in the range of its activation wavelength. According to the invention, the additive has at least in the range of the activation wavelength of the photoinitiators an absorbance (E) of 0.1 to 0.7, preferably between 0.2 and 0.6.

  • Patent number: 9222002
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing an adhesive tape (2). The adhesive tape (2) possesses a tapelike carrier (3) and at least one strip (4; 4a, 4b) of adhesive which is applied to the carrier (3) on at least one side. Here, first of all, a carrier web (1), coming from a supply unit (7), is supplied to at least one coating unit (9, 10). The coating unit (9, 10) then generates the at least one strip (4; 4a, 4b) of adhesive on the carrier web (1) in its longitudinal extent, by carrying out coating with an adhesive. Lastly, the carrier web (1) is slit in the longitudinal direction into the individual adhesive tapes (2); the two last-mentioned method steps may also be run in the opposite order.
