    Abstract: A loading system for use with a haul vehicle and a loading machine configured to load material onto the haul vehicle is disclosed. The loading system has an identification tag located on the haul vehicle, an identification tag reader configured to recognize the identification tag, and a transmitter configured to deliver a first signal including information related to the identification tag. The loading system also has a transceiver configured to receive the first signal and deliver a second signal including loading information to the loading machine to initiate loading of the haul vehicle.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a waveform equalizer and a method for controlling the same, as well as a receiving apparatus and a method for controlling the same whereby better receiving characteristics are provided than before. In a filter 28, registers 911 through 915 delay an input DT1; multipliers 920 through 925 multiply outputs from the registers by filter coefficients C20 through C25 respectively; and adders 931 through 935 add up outputs from the multipliers to acquire DT2. A selector 81 either outputs a timing signal at intervals of a symbol period of DT1 to drive the filter 82 as a symbol rate equalizer, or outputs the timing signal at intervals of half the symbol period to operate the filter 82 as a fractionally spaced equalizer. The present invention may be applied to waveform equalizers performing waveform equalization of the input signal.

    Abstract: A method and system are provided to perform a process of modifying a flash file for a control module that produces control signals for a host system based on executable code in the flash file. In one embodiment the method may include the step of retrieving a compiled flash file including a logic portion and a control data portion that includes at least one data variable located at a target address location in the flash file. The logic portion, when executed by a processor, produces at least one output value based on the at least one data variable. Further, the method may include accessing the target address location in the control data portion of the flash file and modifying the at least one data variable with a new data value such that the flash file is updated without recompiling the flash file.
