The invention provides for re-encapsulating/tagging of media broadcasts having one type of transport encapsulation/tagging into a type of transport encapsulation/tagging required by the middleware.

Abstract: A monitoring system and method are described herein that obtain retry request information from packet recovery server(s) and based at least in part on the obtained retry request information determine whether or not to launch probes to monitor specific network element(s) within an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) network to diagnose a problem without having to monitor everyone of the network elements all of the time.

Abstract: In various exemplary embodiments, a method of monitoring performance of a server and a related computer-readable medium include one or more of the following: placing a load agent on at least one server; maintaining a load on the server using the load agent, wherein the load corresponds to at least one predetermined performance parameter of the server; monitoring the at least one predetermined performance parameter on the server; and gathering performance information while the load agent is monitoring the server. In various exemplary embodiments, the performance parameters include CPU usage, memory usage, network load, and disk performance. Thus, various exemplary embodiments enable a precise determination of the effect on application requests received by the server when the server is under a specific load.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for manufacturing titania-containing fused silica bodies are disclosed. The titania-containing fused silica bodies are subsequently processed to make extreme ultraviolet soft x-ray masks. The methods and apparatus involve providing powders external to a furnace cavity and depositing the powders in the furnace cavity to form a titania-containing fused silica body.
