Abstract: A control device and method for monitoring a premises are provided. The control device is in communication with a plurality of premises devices. The control device includes processing circuitry configured to: receive premises data from at least one of the plurality of premises device and determine whether the premises data meet an alarm condition. The processing circuitry is further configured to, if the premises data meets an alarm condition: monitor for identification data from a wireless device not associated with the control device, receive identification data from the wireless device and perform at least one detection function based on the identification data.
