  • Publication number: 20210141758
Abstract: A system for generating customized deliverable files based on variable data injection is provided. The system is configured to: receive a data retrieval request for image files stored in an image file database having an initial file format, the data retrieval request comprising construction specifications for a requesting entity device and a delivery endpoint; pull the image files from the image file database based on the data retrieval request; inject the image files and the construction specifications into a file construction engine configured to construct a merged file from the image files in a deliverable file format based on the construction specifications and the delivery endpoint; construct the merged file in the deliverable file format from the one or more image files based on the construction specifications and the delivery endpoint; and transport the merged file over a network to the delivery endpoint to complete the data retrieval request.

  • Patent number: 10380087
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a system that ensures one-by-one processing of incoming check image files. The system receives incoming check image files and inputs them into a queue for processing. An application server (e.g., a thread) then selects one check image file from the queue for processing. For example, the system may process the check image to extract check information from the check image file. Once selected by the application server, the check image file is “locked” so that no other thread is enabled to select the same check image file. In this way, the system of the present invention is configured to ensure that each check image file is processed only one time.

  • Patent number: 9721236
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for distributed processing of a check image are provided. A payee may submit a request to deposit a negotiable instrument. The request may be received at a first financial institution. The negotiable instrument may be a check. A transaction record may be generated at the time of the request. The transaction record may be based on information handwritten or printed on the negotiable instrument. The transaction record may be transmitted to a second financial institution. The second financial institution may conduct a fraud analysis based on the transaction record. The second financial institution may transmit a fraud indicator to the first financial institution. Based on the fraud indicator, the first institution may accept or deny the request of the payee. Apparatus and methods may distribute computing resources associated with detection of fraudulent negotiable instrument. The resources may be distributed among the first and second financial institutions.
