  • Patent number: 9646429
Abstract: Apparatus, a method and a computer program product periodically determine one or more temperature thresholds and configuration settings attributable to one or more user equipment coupled to a vehicle. The one or more determined temperature thresholds and configuration settings are sent to the one or more user equipment in a thermal management scheme message. The one or more user equipment are adapted to adjust an operational threshold in response to the received thermal management scheme message.

  • Publication number: 20160123049
Abstract: Door lock including a pivoted latch with a striking plate disposed in the doorframe opposite the door, into which striking plate the pivoted latch is arranged to turn in the locking position; In addition, a locking slide for turning the latch is provided. Installed into the lock is a tightening part which directly or indirectly wedges the locking slide farther away and thereby turns the latch farther into the striking plate when the door is pushed closed.

  • Patent number: 6738471
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and system for ensuring a PSTN protocol restart procedure as defined by the V5 standard after a failure of a first data link carrying PSTN protocol signalling messages. In the method, a first time-out (TC3) for starting the restart process is observed and, if the time-out has tripped, the restart procedure is started by sending a start message using a Control protocol signalling message consistent with the V5 standard. According to the invention, after the first data link carrying the PSTN protocol has been restored to working order, a check is carried out to establish whether a second data link intended to carry Control protocol signalling messages is in order, and this check is repeated until the second data link intended to carry Control protocol signalling messages is in order, and when the second data link is in order, a message for starting the PSTN protocol restart procedure is sent in the Control protocol.

  • Patent number: 6647018
Abstract: The invention relates to a system and a method for implementing ISDN user port status monitoring in a network element transmitting messages in a cascaded V5 interface. In an embodiment of the invention, ISDN user port activation messages are transmitted unaltered through the message transmitting network element when the current state of the ports is other than the BLOCKED state consistent with the V5 definitions.

  • Publication number: 20030002469
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and system for the allocation of resources in a telephone exchange system, comprising a telephone exchange (LE), an access node (AN) and a concentrating interface (V5) by means of which the access node (AN) has been connected to the local exchange (LE). In the method, one or more separate subscriber groups are created in the local exchange (LE), and a predetermined share of time slots of the concentrating interface (V5) is allocated to the subscriber group.

  • Patent number: 6324281
Abstract: The invention relates to a procedure for the processing of an unexpected disconnect request in an access node (AN) which is connected to a local exchange (LE) over a V5 interface. In the access node (AN), call setdown is effected by means of a disconnect message, which is sent from the local exchange (LE) and on the basis of which the call resources in the local exchange (LE) are released. According to the invention, the resources reserved in the access node (AN) for the call are preserved. Moreover, the local exchange (LE) is informed that the subscriber is busy, thus preventing the occurrence of an undefined condition between the local exchange (LE) and the access node (AN).

  • Patent number: 6259784
Abstract: Procedure for accomplishing PSTN-mapping in a telecommunication system comprising a telephone exchange (LE) with a number of subscribers defined in it, a first access node (AN1), which is connected to the telephone exchange via a first V5 interface (V5), a second access node (AN2), which is connected to the first access node (AN1) via a second V5 interface (V5′), and terminal equipment (TE) connected to the second access node (AN2), the connection between the subscriber and the telephone exchange (LE) being set up by cascading the two V5 interfaces. The signalling sequences and message decoding in PSTN-mapping are exclusively taken care of by the telephone exchange (LE) and the second access node (AN2), and the signalling is transmitted transparently through the first access node (AN1) without the first access node participating in the decoding of the signalling.
