  • Publication number: 20120316781
Abstract: A display device for a hybrid motor vehicle is configured to display a map that corresponds to a current vehicle position as controlled by a navigation device and to show at least two regions on the map. The regions include a first region that is reachable by the motor vehicle using available electrical energy when driving under purely electromotive power, and a second region that is reachable by the motor vehicle using an available quantity of fuel when driving under at least one of purely internal combustion engine power or combined electromotive power and internal combustion engine power.

  • Publication number: 20120306896
Abstract: A display device of a motor vehicle, on which a map corresponding to a current vehicle position can be displayed in a display mode under the control of a navigation device, wherein a racetrack on which the motor vehicle is operated can be displayed on the display device in a further display mode.

  • Patent number: 7974783
Abstract: In order to determine an easily perceived display image for a driver assistance system, in particular a distance-measuring system or a parking assistant, a method makes use of the determination of Bezier curves on the basis of measured distance values on various measuring lines. Wherein different variants for the selection of the reference points and the curve edge points are available for the modeling and parameterization of the Bezier curves taking into account the respective current situation. It is also possible for object positions not to be taken into account under certain conditions in order to obtain smooth illustrative curves.

  • Publication number: 20050251307
Abstract: A method for displaying driving-specific data in a motor vehicle, preferably within a driver's visual range, is provided. The display can be switched to a sport mode by a control element (CE) and current lap times can be recorded and stored by an analog and/or digital time recorder that is started and stopped by the driver. From the stored values a reference can be selected in a performance display which is compared with the particular lap time currently being recorded and with the difference between the current lap time and the reference time is displayed.
