  • Patent number: 11490744
Abstract: A system for displaying a plurality of objects is provided. The system includes at least one display case which houses the plurality of objects such that each of the plurality of objects is visible from outside of the at least one display case; a lighting system; an electronic display; and a control system which causes each of said plurality of objects to be successively displayed on the electronic display, and which manipulates the lighting system such that, while each of the plurality of objects is being displayed on the electronic display, the object being displayed is simultaneously highlighted in the at least one display case by the lighting system.

  • Publication number: 20050126059
Abstract: A method of creating a gift assemblage using a gift item that includes a longitudinal portion and a hanging gift envelope. The gift envelope is decorated in a manner that is thematically related to the gift item and includes an envelope portion and a hanger portion, attached to the envelope portion, the hanger portion defining a through-hole through which the longitudinal portion may be placed. To practice the method, the longitudinal portion is placed through the through-hole.

  • Patent number: 5505262
Abstract: A fluid accelerating and pulsation generating apparatus for minimizing loss in fluid energy through frictional pressure drop for fluid passing through the apparatus is characterized by a body having a generally cylindrical chamber formed by a cylindrical inner wall and opposed transverse end walls. One of the end walls has one or more fluid inlet ports arranged therein and defined by passages which intersect the end wall at an angle with respect to a plane normal to the central longitudinal axis of the chamber and generally tangentially with respect to the cylindrical inner wall. Plural discharge passages intersect the opposite end wall at a curved wall portion formed between the cylindrical inner wall and the opposite end wall. The discharge passages may also be arranged to have their axes extending tangentially with respect to the inner cylindrical wall and at a predetermined angle with respect to a plane normal to the central longitudinal axis of the chamber.

  • Patent number: 5228508
Abstract: In accordance with illustrative embodiments of the present invention, a well perforation cleaning tool includes a fluidic oscillator that creates pressure pulsations which induce cyclical stresses in the walls of the perforations and causes damaged skins thereon to disintegrate in order to improve the productivity of the well. The output passages of one embodiment of the fluidic oscillator are connected to respective internal storage cavities and each cavity is communicated with the annulus by a pair of outlet passages. In other embodiments, relatively short length external cavities communicate with the output passages to provide means by which the pressure pulsations are conveyed to the well annulus. Cylindrical filter tubes having a plurality of sets of axially spaced slots are adjustably mounted at the upper and lower ends of the tool may, if desired, be used to provide resistances which substantially confine the pressure pulsations to the immediate vicinity of the tool body.

  • Patent number: 5165438
Abstract: In accordance with an illutrative embodiment of the present invention, a fluidic oscillator includes a transverse vacuum port which extends between the diffuser legs a predetermined distance below the leading edge surface of the splitter. When flow is down one leg, a slight negative pressure condition is created in the port and transmitted thereby to the other leg, which causes switching of the flow to such other leg. The process then repeats in response to negative pressure in the one leg to cause switching of the flow back thereto. Fluid flow thus is switched back and forth between the legs at a resonant frequency, so that continuously fluctuating pressures are applied to the surrounding medium.

  • Patent number: 5135051
Abstract: In accordance with an illustrative embodiment of the present invention, a well perforation cleaning tool includes a fluidic oscillator that creates pressure changes which induce cyclical stresses in the damaged skins of the perforations and causes the skins to disintegrate in order to improve the productivity of the well. Cylindrical filter tubes having a plurality of sets of slots are adjustably mounted at the upper and lower ends of the tool to provide resistances which confine the pressure changes to the immediate vicinity of the perforated interval.
