  • Publication number: 20050209744
Abstract: The disclosure describes a system and method for commercial vehicle operation using reconfigurable brand image technology to support dynamic rebranding. A vehicle may initially carry a first brand image, such as a company name, logo, or the like, associated with a first operator. The brand image is then reconfigured so that the vehicle carries a second brand image, associated with a second operator. Rebranding supports shared use of a vehicle by multiple operators, while permitting individual operators to preserve their brands. A networked system enables rebranding clients to access databases storing scheduling, branding, and accounting information. Rebranding clients access a scheduling database to determine when a particular vehicle is scheduled for operation, and whether an operator or service change will take place. The branding database permits the rebranding client to access archived brand image content. An accounting database tracks costs associated with brand image reconfiguration.

  • Publication number: 20050198572
Abstract: A system, method, and related computer program for isolating sections of data from a document for printing said designated data from received documents from the World Wide Web and like networks, or from documents such as pdf files, source code files, presentation, spread sheet, and Word documents. An interactive browser associated with each of the receiving stations in the network accesses received documents from the network and displays the documents at any receiving display station. The user is then able to isolate designated data and print only the designated data without the extraneous displayable data included in the received document. The browser further includes means for copying the designated data to create a secondary document having a document format structure which is independent of the format structure of the underlying received document. There is provided mean for storing this secondary document in association with the browser which is independent of said received Web document.

  • Publication number: 20050154433
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for therapeutically heating a target zone of a collagenous support tissue within a patient body. In exemplary embodiments, the present invention provides electronically determining an acceptable or unacceptable contact condition between an energy source and a first tissue layer disposed proximally to the target zone. Upon determining an acceptable contact condition, the target zone is irradiated or otherwise heated for a finite time period with energy. A determination of an unacceptable contact condition causes cessation of irradiating.

  • Publication number: 20050108110
Abstract: Accessing the individual components of a planned product via Web searching that provides a product optimized to the purchaser's, i.e. the developer or builder's needs. Prompting a purchaser, e.g. a developer of a computer system, to make a sequence of a plurality of interactive data entries at a Web display station defining the values of a respective set of attributes selected by the purchaser for each of the components in the planned system, together with searching on the Web for sources of components having attributes satisfying purchaser defined values.

  • Publication number: 20050108350
Abstract: The creator or author of the Web document or page at the Web site source of the page is enabled to prioritize all of the hyperlinks to other Web documents embedded in the Web page in order to optimize the needs, such as the business needs of the host. The prioritization is applied in the determination of the order in which the Web documents linked to the activated embedded hyperlinks in the Web document are to be accessed. The system is implemented through the inclusion of a hypertext markup language tag associated with each of the prioritized hyperlinks indicative of the priority level of the associated hyperlink. The implementation for designating a priority level for each of the hyperlinks may be enabled to change any previously designated priority levels for said hyperlinks. Such changes in any previously designated priority levels could be made applicable to the priority levels in previously distributed copies of said Web document.

  • Publication number: 20050096500
Abstract: The invention provides a stabilizer having a suction foot to stabilize a patient's heart. One embodiment of the stabilizer has two suction feet, each having two chambers with different volumes. A shoulder having a suction manifold is formed with an inner surface of at least one chamber so as to enhance the preferential draw of medial tissue. The volumes of the chambers and the orifices and suction manifold are configured to produce vacuum independence between the chambers and between the suction feet.

  • Publication number: 20050080767
Abstract: The user requesting the search is enabled to analyze the list of excessive hits in a manner organized through a Web content manager on the user's display screen, and reduce the excessive hits through the elimination of extraneous domains or subdomains captured by the search. An implementation for reducing an excessive number of hits in a search result received at one of the receiving display stations on the Web comprising conventional means for displaying at said receiving display station, Web documents received from sources on the Web, and means for conducting keyword searches on the Web.
