  • Patent number: 7426556
Abstract: Methods, systems, and products are disclosed for verifying the integrity of web server content. One method receives a request for a Uniform Resource Locator, with the request originating from a referring Uniform Resource Locator. A response to the request is communicated. The method then stores the requested Uniform Resource Locator, the referring Uniform Resource Locator, a status code associated with the response, and a file size associated with the response. Logical rules are applied and a report is generated which pinpoints the URLs in error.

  • Publication number: 20080222459
Abstract: Methods, systems, and products are disclosed for verifying the integrity of web server content. A client-side integrity verification of a web page communicated from a web server to a client computer is received. A server-side error in the web page is received from the web server. The results of the client-side integrity verification are merged with the server-side error. The results of the client-side integrity verification and the server-side error are presented.

  • Publication number: 20070288801
Abstract: Methods, systems, and products are disclosed for verifying the integrity of web server content. Communication with a server is initiated and content is retrieved that is specified by a Uniform Resource Locator. The content is parsed and searched for an error message. When the content contains linked content, then the linked content is parsed and also searched for the error message. The error message is logged to indicate an existence of a partial page error.

  • Publication number: 20070062783
Abstract: A hopper coin feeder (1) comprises upper and lower hopper discs (18, 25). A flexible hopper wall (17) of diabolo shape cooperates with the upper disc (18) to control the feeding of coins by a coin pushing member (35) to the outer margin of the disc (18) where they are gripped between an annular band (33) and the disc (18) to be conveyed past a coin discriminator (61). Any coins or debris that drop from the edge of upper disc (18) are caught on the lower disc (25) and pass to a reject chute (132) and coin payout cup (12). An active coin delivery chute and diverter (80), FIG. 10, comprises a reciprocable plate (81) having a finger (82) which controls whether a coin fed from the upper disc (18) passes down the chute or is rejected onto the lower disc (25). Coins that pass down the chute enter a bowl (89) of a double-disc coin conveying assembly (5) that conveys a coin from the bowl (89) to a LIFO coin stacks (3) of a coin storage unit (1).

  • Publication number: 20060286915
Abstract: A coin conveying apparatus has a belt provided with a perforated coin support surface, and with a rack of belt teeth, for driving the belt by a toothed drive member. Coins are held to the belt by vacuum suction forces. An elongate vacuum manifold extends along a portion of the path of the belt, and coins that are in face contact with the coin support surface of the belt over said path portion are subject to suction forces to hold those coins against the belt, whereby the coins are conveyed by the belt along said portion of the belt path. Vacuum distribution means is provided for varying the suction forces applied to the coins according to the position of the coins along the said belt path portion, whereby the suction forces are enhanced at the upstream end of the belt path portion, to assist in the initial gripping of the coins to the belt when the coins first encounter the belt.

  • Patent number: 7000746
Abstract: An electrical cord reel includes a metal housing of rectangular shape which is adapted to be mounted set in a wall or on the surface of the wall. The electric cord is mounted on a retractable reel mounted within the housing and may be connected to a source of electricity. An outlet receptacle is mounted to the cord for supplying power to remote locations in the room or work area as the cord is unwound from the reel. A series of guide rollers permit the cord to be paid out in a direction generally perpendicular to the wall, but over a large space for flexible application. The receptacle may be reeled in for storage and used as a wall outlet in the storage position. The receptacle is secured in a recess in the front wall of the housing; and the receptacle may be moved from the storage position to a release position where it is readily removed from the housing for remote use.

  • Publication number: 20050287941
Abstract: A hopper coin and disc feeder of the inclined disc type is provided with vacuum suction means to hold the coins on the margin of the disc, rather than the disc being provided with mechanical driving means, such as pockets or a high-friction peripheral band. The margin of the disc is provided with a series of circumferentially-spaced through-holes, and a vacuum manifold is arranged at the rear of the disc to connect the disc holes in an arcuate region of the path of the disc margin to vacuum, the arcuate region extending between the 5 o'clock and 12 o'clock positions of the disc in a direction of rotation, at which latter position the coins in single file are stripped from the disc by a belt conveying means. The vacuum manifold can be an arcuate chamber sealed to the disc by parallel sealing strips, or the manifold may be sealed by a single closed-loop seal that follows the disc margin, but crosses the path of the holes at the 5 o'clock and 12 o'clock positions.

  • Publication number: 20050278579
Abstract: A system and method for generating run-time images of a software program, such as an operating system, builds a run-time image from a plurality of selected software program components, each of which is a discrete packet of functionality. Each component not only specifies its properties and resources but also provides script for its own build behavior. To build the run-time image, a configuration is constructed to include instances of selected components, and the scripts of the instances are invoked such that each component instance builds itself into the run-time image. A general framework is provided for managing the components and the build process. A prototyping scheme is provided for a component to inherit its properties, resources, and script from other components. Each component may also specify dependency data in terms of component inclusion in the run-time image and the orders in which the components are built into the run-time image.

  • Publication number: 20050144519
Abstract: A write filter is used to handle write operations by an operating system of a computing device that has a main storage medium in which the operating system image is stored. The write filter is placed in the operating system to intercept write commands for writing state data into the main storage medium and to write the state data onto a non-volatile auxiliary storage medium to prevent the state data from being lost when the device is shut down. The write filter creates checkpoints (or watermarks) for the state data in the non-volatile memory to protect them from being written over and to allow the system to roll back to a previous state. The write filter also enables the operating system image in a writable main storage medium of the computing device to be replaced with a new operating system image while the operating system is still running through by gradually copying the new image into the main storage while moving the old image into a look-aside buffer in the RAM.
