  • Patent number: 11195260
Abstract: A system includes a sensor including a set of cameras configured to capture a set of images of an enclosed space. The system further includes a processor and a non-transitory computer-readable medium containing instructions which, when executed on the processor, cause the processor to perform operations including: (a) receiving the set of images captured by the set of cameras; (b) pre-processing the set of images to increase quality and reduce effect of ambient lighting; (c) building a disparity map for the set of images based at least in part on a relationship between the set of cameras; and (d) determining an occupancy of the enclosed space based at least in part on the disparity map. The system can be used to determine occupancy in a trailer with irregularly shaped cargo using low cost sensors.

  • Patent number: 11163067
Abstract: An interface device that enables a GNSS-based precision approach through the Ground Base Augmentation System (GBAS) function known as the GNSS Landing System (GLS) and/or through Satellite Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS) based Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance (LPV). The GLS interface device allows a GLS-capable multi-mode receiver to be used on a non-GLS-capable airplane without extensive changes to other airplane systems. The GLS interface device works by intercepting information to and from the multi-mode receiver and modifying the information to make the interface compatible with an airplane that uses ILS guidance. Similarly, the information modifications will make the airplane appear to the multi-mode receiver as if it were a GLS-capable airplane.

  • Patent number: 11156263
Abstract: A hydraulic mount apparatus includes a housing having an upper and a lower portion disposed on a center axis and defining a housing chamber. A partition member is disposed in the housing chamber dividing the housing chamber into a pumping chamber and a receiving chamber. The pumping chamber extends between the upper portion and the partition member. The receiving chamber extends between the lower portion and the partition member. A decoupler attaches to the partition member separating the pumping and the receiving chambers. A moving member of elastomeric material, disposed in the pumping chamber, attaches to the decoupler. The moving member is molded from a first elastomeric material having a first hardness level and a second elastomeric material having a second hardness level with the first hardness level and the second hardness level being different from one another. The second hardness level is less than the first hardness level.

  • Patent number: 11132213
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for transforming a data set within a data source into a series of task calls to an on-demand code execution environment. The environment can utilize pre-initialized virtual machine instances to enable execution of user-specified code in a rapid manner, without delays typically caused by initialization of the virtual machine instances, and are often used to process data in near-real time, as it is created. However, limitations in computing resources may inhibit a user from utilizing an on-demand code execution environment to simultaneously process a large, existing data set. The present application provides a task generation system that can iteratively retrieve data items from an existing data set and generate corresponding task calls to the on-demand computing environment. The calls can be ordered to address dependencies of the data items, such as when a first data item depends on prior processing of a second data item.

  • Patent number: 11128698
Abstract: Processes and systems are disclosed for selecting a producer system from a number of producer systems to lease to a consumer system. A leasing agent, in response to a request from the consumer system for access to a service at a producer system, can identify a producer system to lease to the lease requestor based, at least in part, on a selection weight associated with each producer system that the leasing agent is assigned. The selection weights can be modified based on status information associated with each of the producer systems. This status information may be obtain from the producer systems and/or from a consumer system that has previously accessed the producer system. The consumer system may provide the status information to the leasing agent as part of the consumer system's lease request.

  • Publication number: 20210268441
Abstract: A control valve for a reverse osmosis water purifying system provides a feed water port, a squeeze water port, a drain port, and a product water connection, each of which open into a bore. A first, second, and third O-rings are located in the bore successively between the feed water port, the squeeze water port, the drain port, and the product water connection. A control piston is moveably located in the bore of the housing. The control piston includes a vent/drain well in which a side is chamfered and at least one recess disposed around an end of the control piston. The vent/drain well provides a fluid passage between the squeeze water port and the drain port when the vent/drain well passes over the second O-ring. The fluid passage includes an opening formed between the second O-ring and the chamfered side of the vent/drain well, where the size of the opening is responsive to the position of the control piston.

  • Patent number: 11099917
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing maintaining state information during processing of data sets via execution of code on an on-demand code execution system. Rather than requiring that execution environments of such a system to maintain state, an intermediary device is disclosed which retrieves calls to the system from a call queue and iteratively submits the calls to the system. Each call within the queue corresponds to a data item of the data set to be analyzed. As calls are submitted to the system, the intermediary device submits state information within the call reflecting a state of processing the data set. A response to the call includes state information updated based on processing of a data item in the call. Thus, state information is maintained for processing the data set, without requiring persistence of state information within individual execution environments.

  • Patent number: 11095980
Abstract: Systems and methods can be implemented to include a speaker system with microphone room calibration in a variety of applications. The speaker system can be implemented as a smart speaker. The speaker system can include a microphone array having multiple microphones, one or more optical sensors, one or more processors, and a storage device comprising instructions. The one or more optical sensors can be used to determine distances of one or more surfaces to the speaker system. Based on the determined distances, an algorithm to manage beamforming of an incoming voice signal to the speaker system can be adjusted or selected one or more microphones of the microphone array can be turned off, with an adjustment of an evaluation of the voice signal to the microphone array to account for the one or more microphones turned off. Additional systems and methods are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11092117
Abstract: A system and method of providing HHO gas to an internal combustion engine in a vehicle involves providing a liquid electrolyte solution to at least one HHO generator including an HHO generating structure having a plurality of parallel plates suspended in a fluid compartment. Residual electrolyte solution is separated from the HHO gas output by the HHO generator, and a quantity of the HHO gas is stored in a pressure tank at a pressure level exceeding an ambient atmospheric pressure. The HHO gas is selectively delivered to an intake side of the internal combustion engine by a valve structure coupled to the pressure tank, which is controlled at least in part by a throttle signal of the internal combustion engine.

  • Publication number: 20210207643
Abstract: A spindle nut retainer is used with a spindle with a flat portion on its threaded end. The flat portion interrupts the threads on the threaded end. A washer with a mating flat portion is slidably mounted over the threaded end and a nut is removably threaded to the threaded end of the spindle against the washer to set the preload on bearings. The nut retainer overlays a plurality of the corners of the nut and engages the threaded portion of the spindle with tangs. A majority of the tangs are flexed or bent to remain in biased contact with the threads on the spindle. Some of the tangs are located over the flat portion and remain unbent. The tangs resist rotation of the nut by engagement with the flat portion where it meets the threads.
