  • Publication number: 20240116632
Abstract: A recoil device is provided for a gun having a barrel with a breech. The device includes a breech nut, a brake assembly, a pneumatic spring and a counter-recoil buffer. The breech nut has first and second adjacent sides. The brake assembly includes a brake cylinder that mounts to the breech nut on the first side. The pneumatic spring mounts to the breech nut on the second side. The counter-recoil buffer attaches to the pneumatic spring. The brake cylinder and the pneumatic spring internally push fluids for recoil absorption and return in response to firing the gun.

  • Publication number: 20240109849
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for debriding a tissue site are described. The system includes a manifold and a cover adapted to form a sealed space over the tissue site for providing negative pressure. The system also includes a debridement tool positioned between the manifold and the tissue site. The debridement tool having a tissue-facing surface and a plurality of holes separated from each other by walls. The walls have transverse surfaces extending between the tissue-facing surface and an opposite surface that form cutting edges. The holes have a perforation shape factor that allows the holes to collapse from a relaxed position to a contracted position in response to the application and removal of negative pressure from the sealed space. The cutting edges debride the tissue site in response to movement between the relaxed position and the contracted position.

  • Publication number: 20210201410
Abstract: The systems and methods described herein relate to processing financial transactions using a computer network that stores a distributed ledger, and particularly, to updating the distributed ledger based on data messages received from validation servers that each store a portion of the ledger corresponding to a respective asset. The systems and methods described herein employ the distributed ledger to control visibility of transactions to the general marketplace, but still provide swift and assured completion of transactions and visibility and audit capability for regulators.

  • Patent number: 5890509
Abstract: A cooler bypass valve, located in a hydraulic circuit between the discharge side of a torque converter and lubrication circuit, includes a valve spool urged by feedback pressure acting in opposition to the force of a compression spring to a bypass cooling mode position where the converter discharge fluid flow is connected to the lubrication circuit bypassing the oil cooler. The bypass valve includes a viscosity-sensitive pressure divider, which includes a series arrangement of a laminar orifice and a sharp-edged orifice located between the converter discharge and an oil sump. As oil temperature increases, flow through the laminar orifice produces a control pressure in opposition to the feedback pressure and additive to a spring force, which combine to move the valve spool to a cooling mode position where substantially all of the converter discharge is directed through the oil cooler.
