Abstract: Methods of refining a planned trajectory of an autonomous vehicle are disclose. For multiple cycles as the vehicle moves along the trajectory, the vehicle will perceive nearby objects. The vehicle will use the perceived object data to calculate a set of candidate updated trajectories. The motion planning system will measure a discrepancy between each candidate updated trajectory and the current trajectory by: (i) determining waypoints along each trajectory; (ii) determining distances between at least some of the waypoints; and (iii) using the distances to measure the discrepancy between the updated trajectory and the current trajectory. The system will use the discrepancy to select, from the set of candidate updated trajectories, a final updated trajectory for the vehicle to follow.

Abstract: A system and method for providing collaboration communities in a computer portal environment. The system comprises a community portal tool for creating community portals, portal applications, or portal web applications. In one embodiment, the portal can be one of a number of enterprise applications on server software. The portal can include a community context that can have an indication of members of the community. The indication can be, for example, a list of the members or pointer to a list of members. The community portal can be constructed from portal elements and the community context. The community portal tool can also be used to select a community portal template from a portal component library. The template can include standard elements from the construction of a community portal. A standardized look and feel, layout, and components such as a calendars can be in a community template.

The ability of a disconnectible application to execute on a client substantially independent of server connectivity can enable enhanced flexibility in organizing applications to build data processing systems.

These mechanisms and methods can enable creating a single user profile from attributes residing in disparate data stores. A means for sealing the pouch is provided such that the ground coffee beans remain contained within the pouch when the pouch is placed in a person's mouth and the coffee flavor is released into the person's mouth through the material so that the person using the pouch may enjoy the flavor and benefits of ground coffee beans without the use of water.
