  • Patent number: 11639602
Abstract: A connector includes a first body, a second body, a first fastener, and a second fastener. The first body has a base portion and a protrusion, the protrusion extends away from the base portion along a first direction, and the first body has a first cavity that extends into the protrusion and towards the base portion along the first direction. The second body has a second cavity, which is shaped to receive the protrusion such that rotation of the first body relative to the second body is blocked. The connector may be used to attach structural members, for example during the construction of a modular structure.

  • Publication number: 20230121784
Abstract: A bracket includes a first wing, a second wing and a bridge that connects the first wing to the second wing. The first wing has a first inner surface and a first outer surface. The second wing has a second inner surface and a second outer surface. The bridge extends from the first inner surface to the second inner surface thereby coupling the first wing to the second wing such that the first inner surface is normal to a first direction, and the first inner surface is parallel to the second inner surface. The bridge includes a front edge and a rear edge. The front edge forms a recess that extends into the bridge towards the rear edge along a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction, and the recess terminates within the bridge prior to reaching the rear edge.

  • Publication number: 20230003243
Abstract: A connector includes a first joint member, a second joint member, and a fastener. The first joint member includes a first tubular outer wall at least partially enclosing a first outer cavity, and a first tubular inner wall at least partially enclosing a first inner cavity. The second joint member includes a second tubular outer wall at least partially enclosing a second outer cavity, and a second tubular inner wall at least partially enclosing a second inner cavity. The fastener extends through first and second openings of the first inner cavity, and through first and second openings of the second inner cavity to position the first joint member relative to the second joint member.
