  • Publication number: 20240124750
Abstract: A multilayer composite containing a polymeric membrane, a hot-melt adhesive layer, and a release liner, wherein the hot-melt adhesive layer comprises a thermally curable pressure-sensitive adhesive. The invention further relates to a process to make the composite and to use the composite as a roofing material, label, tape, Graphics and Medical applications.

  • Publication number: 20090163173
Abstract: A cellular communication system (100) includes a subscriber unit (101) having an associated subscriber identity. The subscriber unit (101) transmits call log data over an air interface communication link. The call log data is generated locally in the subscriber unit (101). A billing processor (117) generates billing data for the subscriber unit (101). The billing data can be generated in the fixed network in response to characteristics and the operation of the fixed network. A call activity processor (119) comprises a call log data processor (203) which receives the call log data from the cellular subscriber unit (101) and a billing data processor (205) which receives subscriber unit specific billing data from the billing processor (117). A comparison processor (207) then compares the billing data and the call log data and determines if unauthorized call activity has occurred.

  • Patent number: 6749364
Abstract: A pavement temperature monitoring system (10) is used on paver vehicle (12) that is capable of forming a pavement material mat (11) upon abase surface (13), as paver vehicle (12) travels generally in a single direction. A temperature sensor (14) can be either a thermal imager, a thermal scanner, or a thermal imager operating in line “scan” mode. The temperature sensor (14) is mounted on a rear end (12a) of the paver vehicle (12) in such a way that the entire width of the formed mat can be scanned or imaged. A display device (16) is capable of receiving a plurality of electrical signals from the thermal scanner generating and displaying a graphical image (17) of the formed mat temperature profile.

  • Publication number: 20020100658
Abstract: A system for controlling gear shifting of an industrial vehicle having a transmission operable between at least two gear ratios by actuation of a transmission actuator. The system generally comprises a sensor configured to monitor one or more vehicle parameters and a controller associated with the sensor and the transmission actuator. The controller is configured to prevent actuation of the transmission actuator unless one or more vehicle parameters is in a predetermined condition.

  • Patent number: 6334735
Abstract: A controller is for a heating system of a paving screed including a screed plate. The heating system is connected with the screed and configured to transfer thermal energy to the screed plate and includes an actuator configured to adjust thermal energy output of the heating system. The controller includes a temperature sensor connectable with the screed and configured to sense temperature of the screed plate. The sensor is also configured to generate electrical signals proportional to sensed temperature. An electrical logic circuit is electrically connected with the sensor and is electrically connectable with the actuator. The logic circuit is configured to compare a temperature signal from the sensor with a desired temperature value and to automatically operate the actuator such that the actuator adjusts thermal energy output of the heating system so as to maintain screed temperature about the desired temperature value.

  • Patent number: 5887663
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for controlling the above-ground "raise height" of a seed-planting row unit on an agricultural planter having a row marker, a marker switch and a positioning assembly such as a solenoid valve and hydraulic cylinder for raising and lowering the row unit. The method includes enabling the positioning assembly to raise the row unit and changing the marker switch from its first to its second position when the row unit reaches a predetermined height. The positioning assembly is thereby disabled. Such assembly is re-enabled after a brief time delay. The method is carried out using a unique implement control circuit connected to the marker switch and the positioning assembly.
