    Abstract: A pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective antitumor amount of a protein having tumor necrosis activity such as human tumor necrosis factor and an effective immune system stimulating amount of C-Reactive Protein to enhance the antitumor activity of the tumor necrosis factor and a method for treating tumors which comprises administering to a subject having a tumor an effective antitumor amount of a protein having tumor necrosis activity and an effective amount of C-Reactive Protein to stimulate the immune system of the subject thereby enhancing the antitumor activity of the protein.
